About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Looks in good shape. Has custom steps along the side.
“I have a VW buggie with a flat fender willies jeeps body. It is in great condition has a new radio with 2 6×9 speakers with boxes installed and all new wiring under the dash! Runs great just don’t have the time to enjoy it anymore. I have a bikini top on it and tags paid up until sept 2018. Has front tow bar so it’s ready to drive or haul down the road to the coast, desert or Home! Asking $3500 because that’s what I put into it including purchase”
“I bought this 1953 Willys CJ3B in Georgia back in July and drove it 1600 miles (cruising speed 35mph, 10 plus hours a day) from Georgia back to Boston over the course of 4 days. This jeep is reliable to say the least! From what I know it was owned by an elderly gentleman for the past 20 plus years and kept in his drive in basement. He would use it to drive into town once a week for lunch at the local diner. Continue reading →
“1958 cj3b willys jeep. In great shape. Has original hard top, motor, rims, and doors. Has new fuel pump, water pump, radiator, and brakes. Has some rust but nothing major.. runs perfectly. 4 wheel drive works excellent.. your welcome to make me a offer.. no title as most states do not require on vehicles of this age.”
“Excellent condition 1953 military jeep. This vehicle is 95%+ original equipment. Running gear all original from the engine through the axles. Exceptions: Generator changed to an alternator, 12 volt system, ignition system upgraded, overdrive unit added to transfer case, military style taillights still in place, but, civilian type taillights have added. Vacuum wipers have been replaced with electric. Military seats have been replaced with civilian. Original military wheels and tires have been replaced with civilian. Non-military top and roll bar installed. Some chrome trim.
Tie downs might not be necessary, but I’d advise them!
“WWII Jeep manufactured by Ford Motor Company. Delivery date 10-26-1943. I am the third owner of this jeep. Completely restored. Includes a non-functioning M1919A4 machine gun and mount. I have owned the jeep for around 15 years. Previous owner was a WWII vet, a member of the 101st Airborne 506th and jumped on D-Day. The jeep also comes with a custom trailer especially built to haul this jeep. No tie downs necessary. Fits like a glove. Also for sale with the jeep is a completely restored Bantam T3 trailer delivered 10-2-1942. All three are kept in a climate controlled garage. Asking price for everything is $50,000 OBO.”
“1982 Jeep cj7 for sale. Has the 4.2l I-6 engine. Transmission is the t-5 5 speed. Rear end is the amc30 the front axle is the dana 30. It has the stock transfer case. The odometer says 29,xxx I would assume its 129xxx. The previous owner said it was a maintenance vehicle for a hospital so I am not sure on the mileage. The motor runs great and it shifts great. Brand new clutch with less than a 500 miles. This is not the typical cj with every wire under the dash cut and spliced. Everything works on it with the exception of the windshield washer. It is not currently installed. I do have the spare tire carrier, extra front seat, hard top, bikini top, and hard doors. I only use it in the summer. I get complements every time I drive it. Clean title. No trades—- only cash!!!!”
“Great driver quality with good mechanicals. Converted to 12V with all new wireing. 4 Clyinder engine w/ overhead valves and 3 on the tree standard transmission. Electric cooling fan, new fuel pump, alternator, brakes, etc. Always a California car, so no rust issues at all. Has 1 older repaint with awsome patina, original color was wheat w/ black belt. Like new black interior, carpet, top and side curtains. New radial tires, old bias ply spare for personality. Working heater. Overdrive, horn, and radio not hooked up. Installed 3 sets of seatbelts for the grandkids in the back seat. Lots of fun and always get a bunch of great comments wherever we go. ”
UPDATE: Some custom paint, a price bump and it’s back.
(05/26/2016) When the average wagon just won’t do ….

“This is a 1952 M38A1C military jeep. it’s also a rare artillery version. This was before the CJ5 came out but they shared the same DNA. has the original hood numbers. previous owner wanted it preserved. that was my intention but the buyer backed out of our deal.
I restored and still own one of these and they are a beautiful piece of history. Vets love them. Sadly the wife says no more to my military collecting and it has to go. If she said it then it must be true.
it’s restorable or would be good for parts to finish yours. the rolling chassis has the body, fuel tank, front clip, windshield, bumper, complete grill, pintle hook, radiator and seats. The T90 transmission and Dana 18 transfer case are present but removed, and it has a rare valuable Rancho overdrive attached. Driveshafts are there. Top bows are of the CJ5 civilian era. it’s remarkably rust free on the tub, grill, windshield and fenders, except the tub was cut around the cowl and the tool box is rusted out. i’m sure the hat channels need attention. Many valuable and very hard to find parts are still on this.
what is missing: no canvas or top, bumperettes, bellhousing, no engine or attached engine parts, ebrake drum or handle, or spare tire carrier. These are still available aftermarket and easy to find. Continue reading →
Steve shared this ad. It looks like this is missing the rear half? I’d say there is a little more than 10% left on this project.
