Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “950 willy pick up truck for sale. Pretty Straight truck. Motor turns over with key. Haven’t had a chance to try to get it running. Comes with extra set of doors and everything in the bed of the truck. It has the over drive. Been sitting under the carport since we got it. Does have some rust in lower door inside truck. -see pictures.
Had it sold to my brother, but he had nowhere to store it but our place. So he said he had to pass on it. Title in hand. It has a clear title with all matching numbers.
This truck belonged to my father in law. So I took as many pictures as I could, because I am not going to have all the answers to questions. $2200 cash only. No low ballers. This will be a great project. Thanks”

This 35 page book looks interesting. It’s a reprint, but may be an old reprint.

A number of books and manuals were included.This is a 35 page Photo book produced in 1942 for introduction to the troops of the 1/4 ton 4×4 vehicle Reconnaissance later known as the Jeep. It’s filled with photographs and details for the use of the jeep vehicle. The book measures 8 1/2″ x 11′.with 35 pages, it’s listed as used, as I don’t know it’s actual history so listed as a reprint, great original period photographs and jeep details.”

(01/17/2017) Nice example of a Kelly Bonanza II hardtop.
“1961 willys cj5
– kelly all steel bonanza II cab in great shape rare in this part of the U.S.
– the body shows its age and has had patch work done and the gentleman who had it obviously loved it and kept documentation from when he purchased it in 1964.
– front and rear diff recently replaced
– motor and trans in great shape, shifts and drives great for 55 years old. Last registered in Tenessee in 2016, needs a few things to be done to pass inspection nothing expensive or mechanical. I’m currently working on them so your able to get it running down the road ASAP.

Doesn’t run and the key is lost, but could still be worth a look. Might have been ex fire jeep given all the red paint.
“I have a 1953 willy’s m38. It has 40,000 original miles. I’ve owned it for about 6 month. Absolutely no rust. The gentleman I bought it from had it since 1963. It does run but I lost the key and battery is dead. It has a brand new warn m8000 winch on the front. Seats are in great shape and tires hold air. Bill of sale only as the man I bought it from lost the title.”
