Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has quite the front bumper setup. It runs.
“Selling this original barn find 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep. It has had two owners since new and the last time it was titled was 1978. The mileage is original as it has only been on two Wisconsin farms since new, always barn stored.
Clear title, fairly rust free (front floor pans have one small hole 2-3 inches in floor pan under gas tank), also including new gas tank, rear center floor pan and braces which should take care of any rust issues. Powder coated seat frames and pans, new premium seat covers with foam, all nuts and bolts, new gasket kits, wheel cylinders, master cylinder in boxes, also includes original oil filter housing and air filter assembly and more.
This is a straight forward winter project that starts and runs great but will need some work to drive. $2950 or offer before I have the work done and store until spring.”
