This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/28/2017) Looks like a CJ-6, but seller notes it is a CJ-5 that’s been extended.

“I have a 66 CJ5 ran when parked now motor is seized I have a good motor Buick v6 and adaptors that can go with it also have modern running gear to go with if wanted. Cage does not go with jeep”

No engine or trany. Not a whole lot of parts value either.
“1958 Jeep/Willys DJ3A 2 wheel drive. Frame has been repaired and boxed. Tub is rough but serviceable, other body parts need minor work. Body tag and frame stampings match clear Texas title. All tires hold air for the smooth and easy flat tow to your place. This is a project (a roller) no engine or transmission, Don’t come looking expecting to drive it home. These accept everything from a big block to a four banger. No parts please.”

“1951 Willies Jeep motor is not good, but, has Buick v6, 3 speed manual trans with overdrive which was working when I parked it..This is a project Jeep and will need new interior and paint. Body is straight and not rusted.I have had this Jeep for 39 years but no longer have paper work on it.”
