About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is an incomplete jeep listed as a 1942 GPW, but there seems to be no GPW parts here.
“1942 willys jeep body with a motor. Floors a rusted, been sitting a long time, about 35 years. No transmission or tranfer case. Have a flat head 4 cylinder that goes with it don’t know anything about it. I have the original title for the jeep. It’s a 1942 ford willys jeep. 3500 or best offer.”

(08/22/2016) This is an UNRESTORED wagon. It has a few very minor blemishes, but still looks amazing.
“This is a very well preserved and solid unrestored vehicle that appears to have spent most of it’s life in the South. It has new springs, shocks and wiring making it a solid feeling and comfortable driver. The stock 4 cylinder engine is quiet and smooth running. There are chips and scratches in the paint, showing natural patina for it’s age. Not perfect but too nice to restore. Right now there is a loose vacuum connection causing the wipers to not work and it wants to wander indicating it does not have the correct toe-in setting. Also the passenger window is cracked. Three things I haven’t got to. These were bad rusters but except for a couple of minor issue all the usual problem areas are in unusually excellent shape. Parts, if needed, are readily available from vendors and on E-Bay. It’s a fun, simple vehicle to tinker with.
I’ve looked for this vehicle for over 30 years just because I liked how it looked. Turned out it’s a much more solid and better driver than expected. Problem is I’m also another 30 years older, all ready have too many cars and should be down sizing. There are two cars ahead of this one I’m working on so it will be a while before I get to it if I ever do.
So, reluctantly, I’m putting it on the market for a fair price for what it is and for what I have into it. If you have ever been interested in these early 2 wheel drive wagons this may be the last one you will see in this shape and price range for the next 30 years.”
“I don’t know much about these Jeeps. I recently acquired this Military vintage Jeep from the previous owner who obviously put a lot of effort in restoring this vehicle both mechanically and body. A few after market refinements were put in place including: electric fuel pump, alternator, turn signals, back-up lights, gauges, exhaust. Looks like the entire drive train has been gone through. It starts and drives great, 4WD works, brakes well, solid steering, good clutch etc. Looks to have a full floating rear axle, front locking hubs, wheels and tires in great shape.
“1952 M-38 Willys Jeep Lots of recent work done..Engine, Trans, Transfer, Brakes, Wiring, Ect. Runs and drives excellent.. Military Green.. Metal Top.. Bran New Tires.. Extra Parts include tow bar..”

“1965 Jeep CJ6. In line 4cyl. Ran with points distributer. Installed a brand new HEI type distributer and can’t get fire. Installed a new water pump, and carburetor. Have replacement brake lines, doors, and windshield that goes with it, also has 35″ tires. PTO driven winch. Have title in hand. Possible trade offers welcome.”
Some additional parts as well. Must take everything.
“Well not a complete GPW. What I have is frame with axles, springs, steering and wheels. Also included is windshield assembly, and front fenders. The frame serial number is 19095. The frame is solid. It has the original F script trans cross member. Half of the machine gun mount has been cut off, has 4″ channel for a front bumper and the front u-shaped cross member has had the front of it removed and replaced with angle iron. You can see in the pictures. Axles are Willys MB and turn fine. The left rear axle shaft is an early scalloped type. Has steering gear box and steering wheel. Brake and clutch pedals and master. T84 F script case. Bell housing, shift tower and working 18 transfer case. Fenders are in decent shape. Windshield has good glass but windshield frame retainer(hinge part of tilt out window) is rusted and will need to be replaced. Wheels are 15″ with dry rot tires that hold air. I do not have any paper work on this but will include a bill of sale. MUST TAKE IT ALL.”
