Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/05/2016) The trailer is cool.
“2nd year of these post war vehicles. I’m 3rd owner and 1st owner outside the original family who bought it new. This is a 2WD model with the Planar front suspension. All seats including the 7th “mother-in-law” seat back by the spare tire. Interior and glass disassembled, bagged and labeled for sandblasting. Pictures show some before and after shots. I have over $1000 in new parts (patch panels, etc.). Also have a matching trailer made from a Panel version of these vehicles.”

“1948 willys jeep cj2a. I started restoring several years ago, but lost interest . It is in several pieces. The tub has been rebuilt but not painted, the frame was sandblasted and painted. I have several hundred dollars in new parts. I have no pictures, but will make appointments for serious buyers to see it . I have a good clear title”

Frame off restore, no rust nice paint. Flathead 4 cylinder, 3 speed column shift. 95% done, great shape, has a fuel issue, probably bad gas.
It has just been a porch pretty for a year. We are playing with the fact to cut it in half and stretch it and drop a big block in it and make a bad ass trail rig out of it. We’d figured Id throw it out there for sale 1st.
