About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1946 Willy’s pickup. Engine, flat 4, rebuilt, new starter, distributor exhaust and new paint. 3 speed on the column, shifter linkage sometimes locks up. Road ready, runs and drives. Was not a military vehicle.”
This solid looking 2A with updates has a replacement body. The tank has been moved into the back with a filler tube through the tailgate (I presume the tailgate no longer functions).
“Old School build in family since 1956. 350hp/350 Chevrolet engine. Manual transmission with electric 33% overdrive. Dual fuel tanks, PTO winch, Dana 44 rear with post, Dana 25 front with post. Power steering, new battery and fuel pump (mechanical is new) electric fuel pump. 12” Lincoln brakes. This needs a new home with someone that can enjoy it.”
“1946 Jeep Willy’s Runs needs brakes and seats … ready for restoration and fun pink in hand tags are current open to trades for 70’s Chevy truck or a 450 quad”
Winston has these rims for sale. If interested, contact him via email at wrw1959 @ gmail.com (remove spaces around the @ before emailing).
“I have some Kelsey Hayes wheels for sale. Have 5 total. All are 4.5″ x 16″..3 have the flat edge on center hub, and 2 are just the rounded center hub. Have included pictures. Will sell them for $75 + shipping. Prefer not to sell them one at a time, but might discuss with someone. Also have some true heavy 5″ x 16″ Kelsey Hayes truck wheels, if I can’t find 2 more to make a set…might just sell the 3 I have which are nice solid wheels.”
“1949 Willy’s Overland Wagon. Project Vehicle, title and registration clear. GM straight 6 motor. I’ve lost interest in the restoration, my lose is your gain. Price Reduced! $5K OBO!”
John spotted this one. The seller notes he has a bunch of NOS parts in Southern California as well. The reference to parts in Cali coupled with this jeep in Phoenicia makes me wonder if this is one of Andy’s rigs, as I thought he mentioned he has parts in a trailer in California.
