This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is an excellent restoration vehicle. I have a clean title in my name. Extra hood and a seat frame is included. This Jeep has wheels and tires that are almost brand new. ”

“I have a project willies i need to sell today preferably its a 47 title with a 46 tub and a mid 60s 307 small block that runs well its got a saginaw 4spd with a granny low and an overdrive unit on it as well i just dont have time for the project and this is more than i want to work on it runs and drives just needs things finished on it! i have everything for it to finish it just no motivation im pretty firm on the price as if you were to part it out, it would be worth more. im also into trade potentially, the jeep does need some love but not much to get it road worthy i just dont have the time to do so would make a super fun summer ride!”

Stephen Stokes was kind enough to share this photo (via David Watson). It shows Stephen’s father, Fredrick Stokes, during his time in Japan with the US Army. The photo was taken between 1946-1948. If the bumper is accurate, it looks to be a GPW.

Ted’s selling these two Newgrew plows:
“Two Newgren Single Bottom Plows with extra frames for sale
Both have very nice original Newgren ID tags
Both plows are in very good condition ,mostly complete
Missing Furrow or land wheels and one missing Coulter
I believe some of the earlier Ferguson and Deer Born type tractor parts are interchangeable and possibly Oliver too .
If anyone has any info on this I would be happy to include in post
$850 each but would rather sell all of it as a package for $1500 for everything

“’48 Willys Jeep CJ2a. All original flat head 4cyl., 3speed, 2spd transfer case. Only 61000 miles. Runs like a top. Also has metal doors for the hardtop. Good tires and brakes. Some rust. Has tow bar. Great hunting rig , gets good gas mileage.”
