About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I have an FC 150 in Birmingham, Alabama that I saved it from the crusher a few years ago but have never found time to work on it. I have a bunch of Willys Pickups that keep me busy. VERY Restorable truck taking up space in my shop.”
This seems to be a mix of parts, but appears to be mostly MB.
“This Willys is a true survivor. The id number is a MB number, but is considered a 1947 by the DMV. The tub is a MB. The driver side has been smoothed over with bondo at some point, but the ribs for the tools can be seen on the inside. The window is post war as well as the M38 grille. The jeep will need to be seen. It needs tlc for sure but is a driver. I just ordered a new Holley 1904 carb which set me back $350. The one on now runs, but leaks a little.
I have the window rubber, just no glass. I also have the wood stops for the hood as well as the brackets for the window hinge. No glass.
The engine is what I can best figure is a 1953 F-Head Hurricane engine. It has the generator, but is wound to a 12v system. It has Model A tail lights. It comes with a complete Willys-Overland Arctic Cover or hard top. They fit MB’s as well as M38’s.
The tires are too big, so I pulled off the rear, but the front still cause it to rumble a bit. When it sells I will be taking off the rear wheels and putting back on the big ones. You will need to put new rubber on unless you don’t mind the rumble and wobble they cause. ”
“I just bought this rare Jeep at an auction then was told I am being “down sized” at work. My loss is your gain. This old Jeep is a barn find, seems to have sat around most of it’s life ,thus the low miles. It’s got the flat head six, three speed & four wheel drive & Jeep factory installed snow plow. The Jeep runs but doesn’t drive due to it needing brake work. It’s not perfect but a great old survivor!”
