About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
No interior shots, but it looks good on the outside.

“i also have a 1947 jeep willy, i do not know a whole lot about this jeep i bought it with big intentions, but i just don’t have the money or time to work on it. it does not run, i do know that the frame is good on it the tub is in ok shape but its defiantly a project, the last guy that owned it which is a friend of the family said he parked it because the brakes went bad on it an i guess gave him a scare so he never fixed it or bothered with it he says the engine is in good shape and has all original parts from what im told . im asking 1400 obo, i seriously need these gone by this weekend so im flexible with the price. ”

“Calling all Vintage Jeep Lovers! This one is a project for just the right person. This vintage jeep was in the process of being redone when the owner died suddenly. The body, transmission, and engine are surprisingly sound. The owner had taken many parts off and had obtained replacements including seats, and electrical wiring, but unfortunately was unable to finish the project. As you can see in the photo, it includes a front tow bar. Again, its a project but great when done! ”
(03/13/2013) “1963 Jeep FC-170 4X4 Truck, runs, has new fluids, new starter, Runs good, needs brake work, everything else works. Have pics if you want some. No bed has PTO, with lockout front axle.”
Ann loves her selfie stick! Here we are in front of the upper reservoir of Hells Canyon along the Snake River.
We had a good time during our recent trip to Hells Canyon. It wasn’t hellish at all! From Boise, we followed I-84 north until it reached the juncture of US-95. We followed US-95 until it reached the tiny town of Cambridge. From there we followed State Highway 81, a curvy and hilly (some 7% grades) road. Given we were driving the motorhome our trip along that road was pretty slow. We followed it over hills and through valleys until we dropped (steep drop) into the Brown Lee reservoir (fed by the Snake River) and found the Woodhead Campground, one of several campgrounds operated by Idaho Power in the area. We didn’t look at the campground too closely, but there were trees and manicured grass among the camping slots.
An overview of our drive from Boise to Copperfield on Friday the 19th. We camped at the Copperfield campground then drove on Saturday home via Richland, Oregon.
This map shows more details about the drive from Cambridge, Idaho, to Richland, Oregon.

“1944 Willy’s Jeep. Body in fair condition drive train in excellent condition, runs great it does have a Chevy Iron Duke 4 cylinder engine, which is a common replacement for the flat head 4 cylinder engine that it came with and is easier to get parts. It is Titled and ready to up on the Mesa Monument or where ever you take it. This Jeep is a Military Jeep and is not geared for highway driving. Reasonable offers will be considered.”
“1950 Willy’s Overland 2WD Station Wagon project. This truck has been updated with a 350 engine and an automatic transmission. The truck has been parked for about a year and a half. It ran when parked but has not been started recently. Body has some rust but nothing to bad. Interior has had some high back bucket seats added and needs work like the rest of the truck. Being sold as is and plan on towing home. Email Richard for more info.”
