About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Craig shared this one. Looks like there’s value here.

“1947 CJ2A jeep project with many extra parts from a donor tub. Some new stuff as well. It’s a project that’s currently apart but a good one. No title. I’ll post more pics tomorrow. Thanks, it’s at the end of a long line of projects I have so I wouldn’t mind the room and BTW I have more than this in it so please no lower offers.”
This might have a recondition plate on it (just to the left of the other top plate). No glove box.
“1940’s jeep MB wwii jeep. Complete. Lots of hard to find parts. Rebuild or use for parts. Missing one rim and tire. Tub has rust. Worth twice what I’m asking in core charge/parts. Asking 1000 Obo. Make offer in person cash in hand. Can help load.”
(08/30/2016) It includes a sticker on the door, too.
“Half cab with doors off of a 1949 CJ2A Willys. All metal is solid but does have a few areas that have some surface rust. Doors are in decent shape on outside and the glass rolls up. The inner door panels will need to be replaced.”
(09/27/2015) “Very nice flat fender Military Jeep.. Runs good. Solid body. Appears to be very original. 4 wheel drive works great. The M38’s will go just about anywhere. Not much bigger than a 4 wheeler with way more torque. One of the absolute best vehicles off road. Not the best on the road. Great for a cabin or hunting. Has near perfect olive drab cloth top as well. No doors.”
“Running and driving 2.3 motor 3sp floor high/low transfer case 4×4 seeing what’s out there interested in a utv/side by side or enough cash! Clean title”
Seller believes this may be an M-606. I’m not seeing it.
“I am selling one of my favorite toys, a 1953 Willys Jeep I bought to display with my M1009. I bought it as a M-606, all indications are; It probably is. The M-606 was a Willys pulled straight off the assembly line and modified. The only thing that positively identifies some of these is a stamp on the frame and I have not located it.
At some time in it’s history it received a Buick V6 conversion. When I bought it, it was camo’ed like everybody dose. I was trying to paint it back to the 1950’s era Olive Drab, as it would have been. During sand blasting of parts I found red oxide and the mustard yellow primers used on MV’s. It has a PTO driven 12000 winch on the front. Pental hitch and blackout light on the fender, two jerry can mount on the factory, full roll cage, four jerry cans, a stretcher, cot with a wool blanket, and more extras available.
Now for the bad news;
It’s all beat up and I’m leaving it that way, it has character. It is UGLY. I don’t have the combat rims that would have been on it. I don’t have provenance to show it’s history so I’M SELLING IT AS A CJ-3B, OB HIGH HOOD for $1500! cash only, no trades, no payments. If I could prove it’s a M-606 it would be much higher. It needs clutch work and breaks, I drive it around the yard, start it in gear and kill it to stop. I haven’t been able to start it this near, no spark. Passenger side of the windshield is cracked. Windshield mounting bolt broke off in the mount.
I am not going to flower it up ’cause it is what it is.
I have a Colorado title,”
