About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This is a real army issue willys that was in the korean war which means it has a lot of heavy duty upgrades from the civilian model, it’s pretty much all original except the front bench seat but i have the stock buckets too and the front bumper trailer hitch for towing it as well. Just had a brand new carb and fuel pump put on it and the thing runs great and only has 30,000 miles on it! This thing gets lots of attention and is a blast to drive and will climb up anything! I also have a extra set of original rims and mud tires that will go with it.
I love this little willys jeep and don’t really want to sell it but current situations demand it.”
“Willys jeep. 2 wheel drive. Six cylinder engine. Three speed transmission. Black exterior/red interior. New tires. Some one spent a lot of time and money on this jeep. The motor runs okay but smokes. Possibly needs valve seals. Jeep sat for a long time after it was redone.”
(03/17/2015) Good restoration candidate or drive as is.

“Howdy Folks, Up for sale is whats left of a 1953 Willys CJ3B. Its someones doodle bug project. Not sure what his plan was. What I do know is it has a F head engine that is stuck. Has a three speed transmission attached to a high low transfer case. The frame is bobbed just in front of the rear arch and the rear axel is welded to it.
What is interesting is the two unusual power take offs. One on the back of the transmission and another dozer gear running off the parking brake drum. I have a pallet of spare parts that go with, like extra head, transmission, transfer case, some sheet metal.”
“1942- Private David Gore of the U.S. 107th Cavalry Regiment looks confused to find jeeps instead of horses in the stalls of barn at Fort Ord. Press photo.”
John is selling this amusement ride jeep. Note that the steering wheel doesn’t turn the wheels. See description.
“For sale is a used Junior Pro Amusement Ride Jeep Fire Truck. 50 inches long x 21 inches wide x 15 inches high
These were originally built as pedal cars. This one was adapted to be used on an amusement ride. It has been repainted at least once. See pictures for condition.
EDIT 3/22/15 *Please note the next to last picture. The front wheels are fixed in position by a turnbuckle. The steering wheel is not connected to the front wheels. The steering wheel just spins and is just for effect.
There are some minor dings and there are signs of filler. No rust-thru. Some surface rust. Wheels are in very poor condition. Front spindles are worn.
Wheels and steering wheel are not original. No windshield or ladder included. The hitch and wooden seat back are not original parts. They were added as part of the amusement ride modifications.
