About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1949 Willys CJ3A. Restored from the bottom up. Built by a NASA engineer!!!!
Frame off restored in 2011:
-Professionally done paint and body. All steel. Original body sandblasted and repainted. The paint is Dupont and the color is from an early 90’s Chevy truck.
-Rebuilt 1967 Chevy 283 V8 engine bored 30 over. Crane cam, Offenhauser intake, Edelbrock carb and Mallory ignition. Less than 1,400 Miles. Runs smoothly with no issues whatsoever.
Runs and drives (around the yard). Still, appear pretty solid.
“Professionally rebuilt 226 Hurricane engine with approximately 50 miles put on it. New brakes. Four wheel drive. Tired of seeing it parked. It needs a new home, one that can give it the loving care it needs. Driven weekly around the yard. The grand kids love it. Well worth the price. $4000 OBO
‘NO TITLE’. (Had to put for parts only in the title status box to be able to post).”
It has some very slight light green(?) pin striping.
“Original Hurricane motor, 4 wheel drive with original Warn hubs, overdrive.
Body in good shape with minimal rust. Original service manual.

I find the black truck interesting. It reminds me of a few other ‘Tender’ trucks I’ve seen around. I have one brochure from Israel that identifies them as a model type at some point.

A few dents and some surface rust, but this might warrant a closer look.
“This 1954 M38A1 Military Jeep is ready for restoration. Jeep has spent the last 25 years at the Caribou Ranch in Nederland, CO. May have been driven by some famous musician! Jeep ran until late 1990’s and then just sat on the ranch. This jeep is in good condition and is all original except for the roll bar. It has a lot of the original parts still intact. Wench on front bumper included. Buyer pays delivery/shipping. No title – we do have bill of sale.”
” This is a 1955 Willy’s Wagon that got chopped, sectioned, narrowed and shortened into a rat rod delivery. Has clean title. It has a 350 Chevy with a 700r4 automatic transmission. Holley carb, aluminum intake, stainless headers.HEI distributor, B&M shifter. It has new 6.50-16 tires on factory Willy’s wheels. New Speedway front axle, spring, radius rods kingpins etc. New triangulated 4-link, 2500 pound air bags. New underfloor power brake booster and master cylinder. New disc brakes and fuel tank. New tail lights. Has original steering wheel and steering box that work smoothly. The parking brake works with vintage brake handle. It is still a project with only a few things to finish. It will need…Radiator, drive line (parts included), wiring, fuel line, brake lines, glass, weather seals, torque converter cover, and an alternator bracket. The motor ran good in the donor vehicle, a 73 International Travelall. Not sure of what it was originally in. Transmission was never able to tested, Fluid looked good. Terms..
