Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1952 Willy’s Jeep CJ3, flat head 4 cylinder, manual transmission, 4×4, I think it will run with a little work, possibly starter bad, restorable. Clean title!”

“Parting out old jeep. Have windshield, fenders, grill, radiator, hood, Tub, roll bar, tranny, differential, transfer case. NO ENGINE. Take some or take all.”

“1948 Willy’s Jeep Cj2a Jeep for sale. Has brand new 31×10.5×15 Super Swamper TSL’s on Cragar wheels. Has new shocks, new shackles and leaf spring bushings. Low hours on rebuilt engine. Transfer case was just rebuilt. Has new drag link. New U-Joints. Have new headlight bezels. Jeep needs trans and rear end rebuilt and brakes gone through. Parts are pretty cheap for this and you can find just about anything you need on the internet. Needs paint and body and will make the perfect hunting jeep or cruiser.”
