About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1958 CJ-3B. Body tub is in great shape – it appears that a previous owner pulled the tub and replaced floor pans and so tub and frame are in great shape. Paint is ok but not perfect (crack in paint on left quarter panel and nickel sized paint flake on right quarter panel, various other nicks). I replaced transmission with new one ordered from Kaiser Willys. I also added new Warn premium locker hubs, did substantial brake work (two drums, shoes, a wheel cylinder, etc) and rebuilt steering arm. I believe motor to be original and it starts right off and runs great. My mechanic looked at clutch when we replaced transmission and he said it looks quite new. Mileage could not be verified by prior owner, so no guess as to accuracy. Horn is missing as is emergency brake cable and handle (drum and shoes appear to be in good shape).”
“Willy’s jeep for sale. – Originally from the state of Wyoming. The wagon has a cover, winch, high lift jack, and like new tires. Ran when parked. Engine turns over.”
“I have a 1946 Willys cj2a. 134ci overhead valve engine that runs good with no smoke. Carburetor was recently rebuilt and all bushings are tight, cooling system is in good shape it holds water, body is mostly solid for its age, some rust under the gas tank and under the passenger seat. Will sell with or without the title. Looking to sell or trade. Interested in old motorcycles or scooters, firearms, or maybe something else.”
(10/08/2014) “This Classic Antique 1959 Willys Wagon 4X4 SUV is up for sale. This truck runs good and is in pretty good shape but it does need a little body work, paint, a new head liner and possibly a carb rebuild. It has the 6-226 Super Hurricane Flat Head Motor. I have the kaiserwillys catalog which carries everything these vehicles need or they have an online site as well: kaiserwillys.com”
“Buyer pay for shipping. Contact me for pictures. Also open for trade. Suv pickup truck Family mini van vw bus. No bike no boat no jet ski. Thanks for looking. ”
“This Jeep is in great original condition, unmolested complete and ready for restoring to perfect condition. It has a rebuilt flathead motor that runs excellent, locking hubs and two new tires. It also has two spare motors for parts. It comes with a tow bar ready for transport.”
This looks to be a CJ-2A chassis with a M-38 body and a MB/GPW windshield. That’s my best guess.
