About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
John forwarded a link to the Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks in Springfield, MO. The site includes a reference to the restoration of a Coast Guard Jeep.
“1948 Willys truck on an S-10 chassis with a Chevy 4.3 engine and 4 speed automatic transmission with slap stick. This is a project you can enjoy while you finish it. The truck will do 65 MPH safely, but it is not completely restored for a daily driver, but not a lot.
The truck was put on a used S-10 chassis and the rear half has been rebuilt. Here are all the new parts that I am aware of:
Fuel tank
Rear shocks
Exhaust
Fuel lines
Brake lines
U-joints
Fuel pump
Edlebrock carb
Sprak plugs and wires
Radiator
Battery
Gauges
The tires are fairly newer. The windshield is new, but both side windows are cracked. The interior panels and headliner have new material, but need to be finished. The paint looks good. It runs good and shifts well. It also comes with a box of extra parts and lot of receipts.
This was Dad’s project but he passed away before completely it. Priced to sell or make a reasonable offer.
Must see to appreciate. Local pick up and certified payment accepted.”
“I have a 1950 M38. Runs and drives but has a F head motor.Minor rust. It has a lot of its original parts like soft top bows, rear seat, shovel and axe ect. Also has new tires. Has a clear title.
The second M38 has no title. It has the correct running engine but a lot of rust. It has a good nose and seat frames and solid chassis.
I also have a reproduction metal tub.
I only have a picture if the 1950 right now but will post more pictures soon.

UPDATE: This was on eBay last year. **Status Unknown.
(11/24/2013) This Industrias Kaiser Argentina CJ-6 is the first I’ve found for sale. The seller’s wife brought this from Argentina. According to the CJ-3B Page, about 600 of these came with diesel engines.
“This is a rare specimine of a 1971 Kaiser Jeep CJ6 that has been garage kept for many years. My wife brought it to the US from Argentina where it was maintained to the last degree by a master mechanic. The body has absolutely 0% rust. That may be hard to believe but it is truly the case. It was originally a Dual Fuel Natural Gas primary with Gasoline Reserve tank vehicle but the EPA forced my wife to remove the NG tanks. I have no idea why in this day and age of alternative fuels the EPA would make her do this but they did. The tanks re-installed if you can find them in the market. The EPA forced her to leave the tanks behind. We are both self employed and have very little time to work with it but as I understand it, here is what it will require to get it running: Rebuild the carb, Probably a new battery, and it will need a new Hydraulic clutch & mastercylinder. Otherwise, it should be good to go. As you can see from the pictures, it is in amazing condition cosmetically. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them to the best of my ability. This “Fix-er-Upper” wont take too much “Fixin’-Up” to be an awesome collector for someone.”
“This is a 1946 Willys Model CJ2A. Runs good but needs brakes etc. Frame and drive train are in good shape as well. The body is solid but has had some minor patch work. Drive it “as is” or restore it back to original. Ownership is current and in my name. Call only and during daylight hours only please.
