Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This runs, but has issues. There’s a large hole on the passenger side. This is nearby me.

The yellow CJ-3A looks like it has a very narrow set of Desert Dogs. Unclear if the yellow one runs (probably not).

UPDATE: Still Available. These appear to sport Armstrong Desert Dogs, which aren’t the type of dogs with the meaty tread.

(03/14/2013) This rare CJ-V35/U runs and drives.
“One of 1,000 EVER made, all in 1950 for the US Navy. As far as I can tell, only 70 or so have survived.
This one runs and drives, but will need work, most importantly, it has no windshield, but it, along with most other parts interchange with the CJ3A.”
