I managed to lose the original I had about the folks that own the rights to the IH Scout brand, which was interesting, but the nut of the article was about the revival of the “Scout” as an EV vehicle under the Volkswagen brand. Here’s an article that explains the EV company:

Scott forwarded this link to Sudest.com (in southern France). The company is offering new L-head blocks (likely from China) for sale. They are priced at 3995 Euro ($4310)

“1950s jeep willys. This is an old barn find jeep (I believe it’s a cja2 could be totally wrong) my uncle has had it many years. It’s definitely a project. But with some love could make a fun toy. It does have the pto on the back. He doesn’t have the title to it. So you would have to do some paper work to get one”
There looks to be value here. No description provided.
This DJ-3A converted to 4WD looks like a good price. Tom spotted it.

“This 1978 Jeep CJ-5 was acquired by the seller in 2014 and subsequently fitted with a 258ci inline-six and refinished in red. Additional work is said to have included a rebuild of the three-speed manual transmission, an overhaul of the axle and transfer case components, and a refresh of the braking components. Additional equipment includes 15” wheels, 31” tires, front disc brakes, Bilstein shocks, front bucket seats trimmed in black cloth upholstery, three-point front seatbelts, and rear lap belts. This CJ-5 is now offered with parts receipts, an owner’s manual, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.”
Bill spotted this refurbed jeep listed as a 1948 CJ-3A. It looks in good shape for the price. The engine has a 3A/M-38/DJ-3A oil filter holder, so either the year or the model is incorrect.
