This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have 4 early Jeep wheels, no tires, 16″ X 4″, in excellent condition currently painted in Olive Drab. These are SLOTTED, they are not WWII combat rims. Pictures to follow, I’ll post them here, so don’t ask in an email please, ah go ahead, i might forget to post them.. Buy them all i won’t separate. I am open to partial trades, i could use some WWII, WW2, Willys MB or ford GPW stuff. How about some 5 gallon gas cans, no leakers please. what else do you have? I really need a back seat for a Willys MB, genuine only, well maybe a repop. I’ll even consider mussette bags, water buckets, canteens, etc, again WWII only. If this ad is up I still have them.”

“old crusty jeep FC170. i bought it for the flatbed,that will NOT come with it.
it has the flathead 226 super hurricane motor with hi comp head,and it runs well. the tranny is shot. i’ve driven it around the yard. the windshield is decent,couple chips no cracks.
this is not something to buy and try to revive. it’s parts truck. i have a title,sign by a po and never finalized.”
Tub has some damage.
“1940s Jeeps Willys Tub, Fenders and Hood
The tub has been cut by the previous owner to accommodate a different frame or something. The fenders and hood appear to be in good shape for being over 60 years old, but the tub is rough.

(09/23/2013) Listed as a 1946, it is likely a MB or GPW with some updates.
“This is a nice jeep had it running put new alminum radiator in it and the Dauntlas v6 buck conversion. New poly gastank annd then the radiator got hit so I quit with the project!! Runs great but does need a little work on the grill and a new radiator. This is a rare jeep and have clean title in hand!!!!No emails I wont answer them!! ”
