About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Howdy Folks, Up for sale is my 1953 Willys CJ3B. It has original sheet metal and no rust. I restored it about 8 years ago. Everything was either rebuilt or replaced then. It has traveled about 2,500 miles since then. My wife and I trailered it behind our RV on our honeymoon. So this jeep has seen SanFrancisco, Meer Woods, The Bad Lands, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Napa Valley, and Senoma and much more. So its been around. It has a few chips and bumps, however still shows very well and gets allot of attention. It even won best jeep at the very popular ST. Marys annual car show. Beautiful trophy.
It is powered by an F head four cylinder and an manual 3 speed. It is a 4X4 with high and low range. It has been updated with an Motorola alternator, converted to 12 volts, and a solex carb. It has military ND tires that actually drive very well and wear very well. It runs just great and is fun to drive. It is painted Caterpillar yellow and battle ship grey. I would be willing to repaint it any solid color with a single stage urathane enamel for an additional $1,200. This would include everything but the frame and engine compartment. I also have US government olive drab. You may call me at five three seven one nine eight seven or email me.
I am asking $11,000. It is located in Holland NY near East Aurora. Email me for an appointment for viewing. And if weather permits a drive. I am not interested in trades, or consignments. In the photo you may see the exhaust strap broken, It has been replaced.”
Last night, Louis, who lives on Long Island, and I met up for a bite to eat. He suggested the meeting after hearing I would be on Long Island this week. Patient with my ever changing schedule, we agreed to meet around 8pm last night and had a fine time talking jeeps and life. I learned during our meeting that he has a very low mileage FC-150 and a 1965 CJ-5. He promised to share some pics with us.
So, thanks to Louis for taking the time to drive to meet me and for buying me some food!!
“Runs but needs carb rebuilt and a few things to run and drive. New starter cap rotor plugs wires points changed oil in front and rear diff also flushed the motor and radiator please call or text Blake for more info 801-244-9698 thanks”
‘This thing is a major project. It has a buick v6 in it but I’m pretty sure it is junk. I was told that the front and rear axles are welded. The body is rough, no bad rust but plenty of surface rust. I had plans to build a wheeler out of it but life has got in the way and I’m not sure when I will get back to it. I’d like $750 but I’m flexible. Delivery available within reason. May take a trade but depends on what it is. Call, text or email me if you have any questions or want to come look”
This is missing a tire and it looks as if the rear of the body is twisted.
“1962 Willy’s Jeep DJ3A. Barn find. I found this jeep and the body is in good shape for a jeep that is 50 years old. It’s got a few dents and dings, but dosen’t have near as much rust as most do. I had planned on fixing it up someday. The Jeep starts and runs, but it has no sign of brakes at all. The jeep dosen’t come with a battery. I now need money and have decided to sell the jeep. I have a clear title to the jeep. Buyer to pay $500.00 deposit at end of auction and balance within 3 days.”
“Red flat fender Jeep with white metal top and tow bar. Body and frame in very good condition. Drive train is all original and functional. All electrical is operational. Call Harry at (520) 490-1520”
I’m sure this is a fun rig to drive. I can’t tell if it is street legal or not.
