Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Rudolph spotted this Ford GP that is dated as a 1938 for some reason. 1941 would be the actual year. It includes a trailer.

This has an unusual roof decor.

Has bad area on left rear corner panel. Rest of body is in good condition.
Set up for Chevy V8. Has a 283, does not run, will need to be towed. Have title in hand.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was an auction.
The estate liquidator is asking too much for this. Note how rusty the windshield is. It does have a warn OD.

Restored and Drivable, not presently inspected.
Has cracked windshield.
Stored in garage for several years.”
Somebody likes painting with purple (or indigo or violet … you be the color judge).
“This is a 1946 cj2a. It is considered an “early” model with a vin 19,xxx. It has a title. It has an “F” head motor from a later model which is a little bit taller and so there is a hood scoop to accomidate the carb. It runs good and has a solid body that has been patched up. The only issue is it needs a new clutch assembly($125) oh yeah and its painted purple.”

“1950 willys jeep pickup 4 wheel drive, BODY IS EXL. has 202 hudson wasp engine dual carbs, will need a clutch, it is set up as far as it can go, & some carb work brand new 8 volt battery, it is a 6 volt system. collector plates, and never been driven on the hwy/road. $1800.00 cash (firm)”

(07/26/2011) Lots of updates to this wagon, but it looks like it could use some new paint.
“1958 Jeep Willys Sedan delivery customized 2 wheel drive. This Jeep was customized back in the early 1970s. Has AMC 290 V8 engine with automatic transmission and V8 AMC rear end. Jeep does have air conditioning but it does need charged. Received a new set of Keystone classics and BF Goodrich T/A tires in 2008. All drivetrain components were out of a 1969 Javelin. This Jeep was driven daily in Florida up until the mid 1980s and has been parked until 2008. Ready to drive but does need restored because of lacquer paint showing its age. Jeep has spent its entire life in Florida until 2008. Does have some rust but less than most its age. Front end tilts for easy access to the motor.”
