About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This is a former brush or fire vehicle. Thanks to Tom for forwarding.
“Up for sale is my 5700 Original Mile 1971 CJ6. This was a fire vehicle since new. The jeep runs and drives, it probably needs a tune up after sitting for so long. Clean and clear title in hand! ”
“1945 Willy’s CJ2a (first year of cj) 39,000 original miles on original flathead four-cylinder. Original oil bath, air cleaner and all. Runs, but will need a carb rebuild kit due to leaky seals. And brake work. this is number 1505 of 1824 on the first production run. There are a few small spot where rust is bubbling the paint job which was done in the late 70s. I have a white top and doors in good condition. Great candidate for restoration or just enjoy it as it is. this was a barn find purchase. Where it had been sitting since 1984.”
“I purchased the Willy’s Jeep in 1979 as a third vehicle to our family to enjoy some 4-wheeling, sand pit crawling and rock climbing. The Jeep was put in storage around 1992 and the engine was fogged to preserve it during storage. Upon waking the Jeep up from storage a few weeks ago, the following items were updated or replaced”
“This classic truck gets attention everywhere I go. 4 wheel drive, 1993 4.3 Chevy V6 (crate motor), throttle body fuel injection, 4-speed manual with manual overdrive, manual steering and brakes. I purchased the vehicle in Oregon in 2017 and have done lots of work to it since. I drive it to much and hoping to find buyer who will value and restore this unique truck.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was on eBay…. This was listed back in 2014.
Glenn shared this one. It doesn’t seem to have any ‘WILLYS’ or ‘JEEP’ stampings anywhere, suggesting it could be military, but it also could have produced following the decision to stop jeeps with “WILLYS” on them. It does have a ventilating windshield, along with a Koenig hardtop.
“Willys. Cj 3B, military version, M606.
Has military options like fold out windshield, trailer plug, tow hooks, hard top, etc.
Runs great, needs nothing. Small rust in passenger side floor and crack in windshield. Low milaeage, very rare model, most were made for export.”
