About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Parkway wagon build. It’s unclear how much work is still needed.
“Really nice willys parkway for sale not going to get a chance to build it so I am going to let it go. Located in shawnee Oklahoma do have a complete front clip that goes with it also.”
The seller has done some research, discovering that this started life as a 2×4 for the Navy, but was then was refitted to be a 4×4 for the Forest Service (perhaps the Parkway Conversion was also implemented at that time?) .
“1961 Willys wagon 4×4. 4 speed with a Chevy small block. Vehicle has been stored under cover for the last 5 years until recently. There is some rust shown in the pictures. Hasn’t ran in 3 years and the rear brake line is bad. Does come with a tow bar and lights. Here’s a little back story on the wagon. Researching the serial number from Kaiser/Willys website this was a 2wd drive naval personnel carrier that was built at the end of the Korean War but never left the factory.
The government had Kaiser repurpose it for the forest service they transferred the body to a 4×4 chassis and sent it the forest service in Leavenworth Wa. I purchased it from the grandson of the man who bought it from the forest service. The original engine failed and was swapped out some time in the the mid 80’s. I don’t really want to sell but the wife wants a new house. Open to offers. Please don’t make a low offer I won’t be giving it away :-)”
“1956 willys wagon parkway. 226 super hurricane. Runs and drives. Still needs some work. Some rust around rear fender wells. Other than that it is pretty clean. I cleaned and sealed the interior roof and floor pans. New fuel tank, filling tube, locking gas cap, and sending unit. New gas peddle. Mostly converted to 12v besides gauges. Does need a new 6v regulator. Or upgrade to 12v. Has gm alternator. And upgraded distributor. Has pto driven winch. New head lights and taillights with integrated reverse lights. New blinker switch. Needs a wiper motor. I made some plywood interior panels and they have new speakers in them. It needs seats. Only has a driver seat at the moment. I do have the original passenger seat complete and the original driver bench seat frame. I also have wood planks for the floor. Rear window is cracked and one is plexiglass. 5500 obo. Open to offers. Only selling cause I have to many projects. Open to Possible trades. Have a clean title”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800. Mike notes this rubber on the rear windows may be installed backwards.
Has an updated drivetrain.

Starts, runs, but needs work. This is a project that needs very little to get it on the road. $3800.00 OBO.”
“Willys sedan delivery 4X4 wagon 90 % orig. runs and drives still needs some finishing current registration . has 226 six cyl. engine and three speed transmission lots of new parts 7500.00”
This wagon was shared by Rob, who is currently in Turkey. The price on this wagon is £7500, which he notes is quite a bit than it is worth. Two interesting features include the added handbrake/parking brake on the floor and the LPG tank in the back storage area.
Rob writes, “The tank in the back is actually an LPG gas tank, they are pretty much the normal here in Turkey as gas, petrol, diesel is expensive. These tanks are fitted by specialists, so they are safe. I have one on my jeep. This car or shooting brake as we used to call them in the UK is 2 km from our house on Turkey. It is parked up open not locked on a grass hard standing with about 6 other cars ,, just left there. The jeep fires up, I’ve been told. I tried to open bonnet without luck. The Willys motto is on the front at the top above the radiator.”
I guess the seller doesn’t want to hunt for the serial number??
“We are unsure of the exact year due to a lack of serial number anywhere on the chassis. Its a 1950s Jeep Willys Station Wagon Delivery, has the original motor and transmission still installed and thats about it. This is a very clean carcass ready for a rebuild. Please see pictures and feel free to email with questions, or for more pictures. We are looking for serious inquiries only from people who are interested in a build or need parts. No separating parts, not piecing it out. bill of sale only, no title, no tags. DO NOT EMAIL ME TO TELL ME INFO ABOUT THE VEHICLE OR WHERE TO FIND THE SERIAL NUMBER.”
