About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: This is back on eBay at a much lower price.
Burn Notice fans will interested in this Surrey. According to the eBay ad it was used on the set of Burn Notice, though no one has seen it appear in an episode (and only two episodes of the series left: sept 05 and sept 12 on the USA Network). We do know that the producer had been hunting a surrey for the show, but never learned what happened to their search. Well, I guess they found one.

UPDATE II (09/11/2013): Brian and Bruce each sent a photo. See below pink surrey photos.
UPDATE (09/10/2013): Brian shared these pics of a Surrey with a Kelly hardtop. He bought the hardtop, but not the jeep.See Brian’s pic and info underneath the pink surrey hardtop photos.
Unfortunately, there’s no description. Only the date of July 1965.
(09/11/2013) Brian sent this photo of the door after it was sand blasted.
(09/11/2013) Bruce forwarded this photo of the surrey without the top.
(09/10/2013) Brian’s photos of a 1961 DJ-3A Surrey:
Brian writes, “It’s not the same Jeep. My top has never had an i.d. tag on it which i always thought was odd. When i bought the top, the Jeep was only in Florida for a year or two at the time. Before that it was in Virginia where it had spent most of it’s life, the same State that the top was built in. The story was something like: a lady bought the Surrey new in ’61 and then (i think) it was sold to a serviceman around the time of Vietnam. He put the Jeep in storage and it sat there for well over 30 years, hence why it was in such good shape. I can’t remember who had the top put on it. I found two more pics that show a bit of the pink paint, in the rear cargo area some is showing on the ribs and the front floor shot shows a line of pink around the body seam. I had underhood pics that showed alot of pink paint that the cheaper paint didn’t adhere too well to but i can’t find them.“
“1964 Jeep Surrey Gala(DJ3A) 2 wheel drive version of the CJ3. Unique model, not very many made. Has the 134CI flathead that runs pretty good. This model has the 3 speed stick shift on the column instead of the floor. This Jeep has already been soda blasted and is ready for restoration. Would be a good father/son project.”
Bruce noted this Surrey is still for sale. It will be up for auction some time in the next few days.
“To be OFFERED AT AUCTION WITHOUT RESERVE at Auction Americas Auburn Fall event, August 28-1, 2013. Estimate:$ 30,000 – $ 40,000 Chassis no. 563371789”
(12/01/2012) “This is a 1962 Willy’s Jeep Surrey Gala with 26,127 miles. It has been in our family for 30 years. We used the Jeep in parades only to advertise our business. Price $9,500.00. Only 1100 ever made. They came in Blue, Pink and Green. This jeep was refurbished from pink to red prior to us aquiring it. Serious collectors only please! I also am willing to sell the trailer that it sits on for an additional $1,000. It is a full size car hauler. Please call Jim Cira at 419-722-8801.”
