Wow. While it looks like a Surrey, it’s definitely a 3A.

“Willys is missing surrey top canvas, but I have material and complete frame is attached. Restored in 1997 but has minor surface rust in various areas. Carbeurator on vehicle is not the original and linkage is not complete for rebuilt carb. I have original carb in box.Have not found the original oil bath air cleaner, but might still have it. Fuel filter bowl is not functional and is not connected. Might need distributor, is running rough. Less than 19000 original miles with good compression.Tires have less than 1000 miles on them.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $200.
Looks pretty original to me, but I haven’t seen many of these.

UPDATE II: Charles spotted the 2010 post below that shows a DJ-3A auctioned on eBay from Massachusetts. Anyone recognize it or know the previous or current owner?

====================
UPDATE: Bill tells me they are also looking for pictures of any surviving examples of tops and the bows themselves. The bows are the most important item they need to duplicate. The top is something we can construct but without a correct set of bows we won’t be on the mark.
Bill and Charles are seeking the measurements for the DJ-3A Fastback Style Top like the one shown below. There’s currently a thread about it here http://z4.invisionfree.com/CJ3B_Bulletin_Board/index.php?showtopic=5356, but so far no one has had any luck finding them.
As I look at these two pictures, it appears to me that top folded up like a Jeepster top. I’ve never noticed that before. I’ve never run across one of these tops in the real world, only in brochures or press photos.
UPDATE: Was listed at $20,000
“Jeep is vitually mechanically perfect. Documentation for re-build on engine, new gaskets and seals through-out, new ring gear, rear main seal, starter, engine cluster, thermostat, side panels that were never installed and are like new, owners manual, shop manual. Older restoration that is in nice shape. Has original vacuum wiper and a hand wiper on the passenger side (as it was equipped originally). Has original size white-wall tires. this is a truly eye-catching vehicle.”
Derek’s updated the Pepsi DJ-3A Surrey Page with some neat information. It includes a photo of surreys on a transport trailer. http://cj3b.info/Siblings/SurreyPepsi.html
Here’s an example of one Pepsi Surrey:
