The work looks good, but the frontend design is unexpected.  Those old dogs look in good shape.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $550. Desert Dogs PCV on a FC?  That’s a rare sight.

“A later model 150. It has the wider track and the cast iron weight in the rear of the frame. The cab has the usual rust spots, the floor, lower rear corners and above the windshield. The bed is in reasonable condition, but no tail gate. The engine is loose and ran a few years ago. I never drove the truck so I do not know the condition of the transmission (three speed) and transfer case. The rear end is a limited slip. Included is a spare front axle from a CJ Jeep. It is a project, but it is all there.”

Ann and I arrived safely in Pasco after a sunny/rainy/snowy/windy day driving through the panhandle of Idaho, then west to Pasco. We spotted and photographed a couple jeeps, ate some good food and visited with family; so it was a complete day!

More tomorrow on this possible CJ-2L Bruce spotted. Note rare Desert Dog PCV tires (not that they are in good shape).  They have a tighter tread than the standard Desert Dog tires.

UPDATE:  Price dropped to $700.

(09/05/2012) This was a 1945 GPW, but it now has a CJ-2A body and some other mods, including some Desert Dogs.

“$700 OBO.  The value here is in the parts. It does not run and will take a lot to get it running.
It pretty much needs everything gone through or rebuilt to get it street worthy again.

The Jeep is titled as a 45 Ford Jeep, but it doesn’t look like there is much left of a 45.
Body is 2A, frame is 48 or newer.

This was going to be a project but just too much for me to tackle. The motor has two cylinders that are rusty and I don’t have the
time or resources to pull the motor and rebuild it. There are some good parts on this Jeep that someone will want.

MB Grill
T 84 Transmission (Needs Rebuilt)
WW2 water pump undrilled
WW2 carb (maybe)

Buyer must take it all. I will not part it out. Trades considered, unless I get too many calls with people offering me garbage…..

UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**. It is similar to the Trailblazer. 

Where was this when I was building models?  This has desert dog-like tires, a stainless look, and some turbine rims!

According to the seller, “no modifications have been made on this jeep“.  I count at least 21 modifications (not counting the tires).   That said, the body looks pretty good.

“This jeep has been garaged except the last the few months. Had to do some remodleing in my garage. There is little surface rust in a few spots nothing major. Role bar in back, snap on soft top. Small rust hole on passager side floor board. ENGINE NOT RUNNING, This jeep is in great shape considering the year it is made. Reply to this or call 360-249-4063. Ask for Kurt

This has some old Desert Dogs.

‘This thing is a major project. It has a buick v6 in it but I’m pretty sure it is junk. I was told that the front and rear axles are welded. The body is rough, no bad rust but plenty of surface rust. I had plans to build a wheeler out of it but life has got in the way and I’m not sure when I will get back to it. I’d like $750 but I’m flexible. Delivery available within reason. This has some solid lettering Dogs.  It sure looks like a racer from the 80s maybe.

“This is a project rig. It does not run. I don’t know what kind of shape the drive train is in. I found it in a field. I was told it used to be raced and the axles are welded up. I due have a title for it. I can’t remember the year at the moment but 46′ sticks in my head. I was going to build a wheeler out of it but I have no time or money. I’d like to see $800 but feel free to make an offer. I can send more pics. It’s currently in storage in Othello but I live in tri-cities.”
