These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Given the dash plaques, this was likely a long time Jeep Club jeep. This likely has the F-5-200W Kelly hardtop (it could have been original to the jeep).
“Clean little 1966 CJ5 for sale runs and drives great, v6 96000 original miles. Hard top, 3 speed manual with two speed transmission. Defrost with heat and 2nd heater for cab. No rust just a couple minor dings. Also comes with factory driver seat, hydraulic snow plow, plow lights. Cool little jeep, just a little small for me. Clean title in hand.”
“For sale is my 1952 Willys M38 (military jeep). The top is a factory “Arctic Top” that was installed when new. The Jeep was originally in the military then was purchased by the forest service and they painted it forest service green. This jeep has almost no rust on it whatsoever! Floors, body, hat channels are all completely solid and rust free. Some stuff was modernized: 12v converted/solid state distributor/standard fuel pump but I have all of the original 24v waterproof distributor/plugs/wires/pump. Lots of new parts, radiator was rebuilt, new fuel tank, seats. All gauges work like they’re supposed to. The Jeep runs and drives great and I drive it regularly. It has a clean Ga title in my name”
(05/23/2022) Besides the 2A, the seller also has a CJ-5 and other jeeps for sale. The 2A was previously an Amador County Search & Rescue jeep and has a Warn OD, a Sears branded hardtop, and a PTO(?) winch.
“Cool little flatty with some rust but alot of good going for it to restore or just have years of fun.
First it has all the original date plates (vin tags) including the brass one on the dash, straight Willys hood, tailgate and windshield.
The full hardtop and doors are aluminum and made by Sears this one is in really good shape considering it’s age, not perfect but all the parts for the “roll” up windows are intact and 2 of the glass pieces are perfect, the others are easy to match and source.
The mechanical winch works.
The Jeep has most of it’s original parts including 16″ matching steel wheels. The motor has been changed to a Buick “Dauntless” V6 and (ironically) it doesn’t run yet. I am soaking the pistons before I try to crank it over. It is full of oil without water and looks good under the valve covers etc. “Ran when parked” according to the 81 y/o guy that has owned it since 1979. It has a Warn OD, original T-90 / Dana Spicer 18 transfer case and 25/41 axles. The floors have rust in the front footwells and in the tool box (from sitting) but the back floor, wheels wells, fenders, hood, grill, etc are sound. There are a few more spots of rust throughout the body but it’s a CA car so nothing you can’t work out.
Come take a look I have a few Jeeps for sale as I realize I can’t keep them all. Make an offer while you are here with cash in your hand if you want me to think you are serious. Ask me if “it’s still available” and I won’t sell it to you.”
“I don’t know much about it. My ex and our good friend purchased this from a widow who’s husband was building it, and now I am currently separated and need to sell it as I can not finish the project. “No idea who made it, can’t find any tag or stamping. Grabbed it for my ’47 2a but am not going to use it. In pretty great shape considering it’s age. Both doors intact.”
“1947 Willys Jeep all original, only thing missing that I am aware of is the original generator. I don’t believe the cab is original either. Has been sitting since early 1970’s and does not run that I am aware of. Montana title in hand.”
“1947 Willys CJ2A, Very rare Willys hard top with doors, Body and frame in good shape very little rust spots, Restoration started with new brake lines, New brakes master cylinder and slave cylinders, removed and cleaned gas tank, cleaned and repairs radiator, motor ran 10 years ago but now engine found to be stuck so engine will need to be overhauled. Have the original tires and wheels. New shocks included, Asking $4,500.00 OBO.”
“1946 CJ2A (Project) Willy’s Jeep. All original with extra parts. I also have a convertible windshield for it and an extra front bar. Will be cleaning it up more and more and updating photos. One owner, passed down from my grandfather, have all original info. Needs a tune up, and some fresh tires but as of right now hasn’t been ran in a decade or so. Will run and drive with a little love. Located in Banks, Oregon.”
This might be worth a look. Has a Meyer-style hardtop, a tux park style rear bumper, and many other parts. The passenger fender looks to be from an early M-38A1, while the driver’s side fender may be original.
