About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I like this half-door hardtop combo. Jeep looks in good shape.
“If you like classic Jeeps, this is the one for you! This 1963 Jeep Willy is a 4 cyl. vehicle that just had a ring and valve job. New exhaust manifold, 2 new wheel cylinders and 4 brand new tires. Speedo currently reads 34k miles. Painted in catalytic primer all over. Asking $4,000 OBO. ”
“Selling a 1955 Willy’s wagon 4×4. Runs and drives very good. 4×4 works as it should. Body is in really good shape for age. No rust on body. Has some patches. Floor pans have been patched. All seats are there. Rear seat needs foam but has new covers. Motor is a F head 4cyl that is out of a 1953 wagon. Still on 6volt system. All lights work. Heater motor blows air but the temp adjustment needs some tinkering. Has original vacuum wiper motor that does not work. Oil pressure gauge works and battery gauge. Working on temp and fuel gauges. Speedo works and is pretty accurate. Manual choke. Tires are like brand new and brakes have been all gone through. New rear shocks and steering stabilizer. Has new gas tank and new wiring. Has a couple small drips but nothing major. Love it but needs to go for next project. All glass is good also. Call or text with any questions. Can text more pictures if needed. I also have a couple totes of extras including dash gauges speedo. Other misc parts. Steering stem and generator. Also have side extensions for rear bumper and an extra passenger front seat. Will sell extra parts separate also. ”
“Title on site , Original engine, 24 volt generator system is in tack, foot push button start, military non-directional tires are 2 years old w/spare, all seats present w/olive drab canvas covers, ready to drive away.”
“1954 willys jeep 3 speed manual in running condition. Just fired up and took for a drive yesterday everything ran fine. Repainted a few years back to u s army green with lettering and army star on hood. 4×4 works and runs like a champ.”
Jim looked at this M-151 the other day. It may be a good buy for the right person.
He wrote, Wanted to share with the eWillys crew. I visited this M151 yesterday (19 April), and ultimately passed on it, as it will need panel patching for the lower panel rust holes. Jeep runs, matter of fact it started right up and smooth idle. It has been in family for some time, and has a lot of trail time, resulting in the angle iron lower rocker panel reinforcements. Ad has more information. I would recommend the jeep to any interested party who doesn’t mind the pin holes, or can repair the panels themselves. A fair price for a registered, running M151!
The owner asked to have his name and number available as well. Garrett, call or text @ (805) 218-5061.
Ad text: “Selling uncut 1970 M151 A1. This is a Vietnam Era Army Jeep made by Ford, it is 4×4 with independent suspension front and rear.
Nearly stock except for a hoop style roll bar made of 1.75″ 120 wall d.o.m. as well as some angle iron guards just below the driver and passenger doors which unbolt.
Has the deep water fording kit as well as full soft top.
There are some of the usual rust spots, mainly on the front floorboards which I will include a picture of. Nothing major.
It runs great and is totally capable of heading up to the mountains so or cruising around town.
It has current registration with clean title”
“1955 willys jeep cj5 with 4cyl ohv engine runs and drives needs carb work have spare frame with good axles and transmission and transfer case plow and plow frame not included”
Doesn’t run. Needs body work on the passenger side. Unusual passenger ‘step’.
“1946 4×4 Willys Jeep VIN # 22582, Never had it started, original 4 cylinder engine is free, tires are good, good windshield and frame, still on the original 6 volt system, have many new parts to go with it, this one would make a easy restoration project.”
