“This is a 1962 Willys Jeep with the original in-line six cylinder engine, manual trans, and 4WD. it runs and drives great. I also have every receipt for everything that has been done to the truck since 1980. My plans were to cut it down and make a street rod out of the body, but I just can’t bring myself to cutting it up. Would make an excellent farm truck, hunting truck, or project for restoration. Asking $2,200 OBO”
UPDATE: **SOLD** No price listed.
The seller also shows pictures of a matching truck that might be for sale.
“GOT A 1958 WILLYS WAGON FROM OUT WEST HAS ORIGINAL 6 -226 MOTOR WITH WARN OR DRIVE, TOTALLY UNMOLESTED, RUNS AND STOPS.”

“1952 Willys M38 Jeep.
I bought this as a future project over 12 years ago and while the future is here, I have not started the project.
I bought the jeep from Montana and since I have had it it has always been stored indoors. Due to the hard top, it is in great condition as far as rust goes.
I have started and driven the jeep so know the mechanical work but have not started it in probably 2 years.
GOOD
Clear MN title (I am from MN originally)
Remarkably rust free for the age
Mechanically sound
Not so good
Much of the M38 specific equipment is missing
There are some dents and dings from 60 years of use
Due to the age and probably lack of use, it tends to mark it’s territory.
Don’t know if this is good, not so good or just interesting but looks like this was an arctic jeep. I can’t say exactly what that entails but there is some additional heating components inside that are “interesting” I think it is a somewhat unusual military modification for the cold. Explains the hard top as well.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3600.
(05/16/2013) This may be worth a look.

“Selling my 1949 Willys Station Wagon to make room in my garage. This is the two wheel drive version. Very original older restoration including original 134 cubic in flathead 4 cylinder with three speed overdrive transmission. Still original 6 volt electrical and wears correct 1949 California license plates. Has correct and very rare radio.
Restoration included new brakes, complete motor rebuild by Rod Furtado, new paint, new interior including seats and original basket weave headliner, all new window weatherstripping. It’s just been sitting in my garage so needs some TLC but this car is a great cruiser that makes people smile.
