About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“’46 CJ2-A- 1st year of civilian jeeps. 4 cyl. L head engine, maybe original. Runs, but everything could do with looking at. Unrestored.
Should probably go to somebody with good basic mechanic skills. $3900 OBO”
“Good hunting Buggy, No title, 4 wheel drive works good, Tires good, New Carberator, New starter, New Fuel pump, some new brake lines and cylinders, Floor board solid but rust on sides, Headlights work, no tail lights, 2 inch trailer hitch, Brakes good, faded red paint, seats need to be recovered.”
“up for sale is a willys that is 99.9% orig and complete. This has been sitting in a barn since 1985-2009. It was run up untill 85 when a spark plug was busted off on the back cylinder when they were getting changed and then just sat since. This willys will need complete restoration and needs lots of work. It has the flat head 4 cylinder, 2 stick T-case, motor is still loose but the trans is stuck and will not shift. I will send an extra trans with it. only things I know that are missing are the plug wires, air cleaner tube. This will need to be trailered. Comes with a bill of sale only.”
This still runs and drives. It has the wrong tailgate though and few minor mods.

Thats pretty much all I really know about it at this point. Title is in hand, so if you have any questions or would like some more pics feel free to give me a call at 717-713-4484. Leave a message if I don’t answer and I will get back to you. The front right leaf spring is broken also.”

“1953 Willy’s CJ3B jeep, original F head engine, 6 volt electric system, runs great. Transmission pops out of second gear on deceleration but works fine otherwise. Moving out of state and can’t take it with me. Asking $7500.00 obo.”
The bidding for this has already reached $18,000. This is an extremely detailed restoration.
“1955 Willys Military M-170 Military Jeep up for auction. This Willys has gone through an extensive, nut and bolt, frame-off, total restoration.
Willys produced just over 4000 of these Jeeps for the military, making it one of the rarest Jeeps ever produced, the civilian version (the CJ-6) was offered to the public a few years later.
No expense was spared to bring this Jeep to the condition you see here today. The Jeep was taken down to the frame, the engine, transmission, axles, brakes, electrial systems and interior are NEW.
Please look at the many photos and notice the attention to detail, and the completeness of this museum quality restoration, this Jeep is NEW, NOS, COMPLETE, and BEAUTIFUL.
All M-170 components are present and correct, which is crucial, as many parts are specific to this vehicle ONLY.”
