This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “You are looking at a 1942 Ford GPW military jeep. Restoration was started over 10 years ago and never completed. Motor, trans, transfer case, and axles have been rebuilt. The body is an aftermarket piece and sits on a very nice straight and rust free frame. Have most parts to complete (some not pictured) and will be included with the sale.”
UPDATE: Was listed at $7500. Status Unknown.
This may be worth a look. Tranny was stuck in 3rd gear.
“1942 Willies Jeep. This is actually my dad’s jeep and he asked me to sell it. This jeep has sat in the barn for years. It would be great for a collector. The last time I drove it, it only had 3rd gear. This Jeep was displayed at the Tillamook Air Museam.”

This runs and drives. It also comes with a lot of parts. I think that’s the original paint, too.
“Up for sale here is my M170 US Army ambulance jeep. It runs & moves under it’s own power. It originally had a 24 volt electrical system but was converted to 12 volt. I have most of all the parts needed to put it back to original US military condition. Windshield is correct, four rims are correct and one is a later 60’s era wheel (front left), radiator holds coolant, brakes inop, tires hold air, has some rot. I do not have the top bows, top, nor upper litter rails. No title but I will provide a bill of sale. Delivery possible if not too far away. Calls ONLY due to scammers & their lousy emails. “hi – i have decided to sell my very rare and very rust-free project truck – this is a 1965 willys / jeep forward control long wheelbase model truck called a fc-170 and is a california rust-free truck which has been parked since 1972 !
just found it and brought it to texas apprx 7 months ago and started accumulating all of the parts for its restoration.
this truck is a project and does not run or drive !
it does roll and steer for transporting and is not taken apart —- its still all together !!

The seller lists this as a 2A, but looks to me to be a 3A. This looks like an excellent project for the price.
“I have a 1949 Willys Jeep available for sale. It runs, but the fuel pump needs to be rebuilt (we were able to confirm that the engine is good by delivering gas straight into the carburetor). It also currently does not have brakes, although I have a brand new master cylinder and brand new wheel cylinders to go with it–these parts just need to be installed. It comes with a snowplow, but the hydraulic system for it needs to be overhauled. My grandfather found the Jeep in a salvage yard a number of years back and brought it back to life so that he could use it to haul wood around on our family farm. However, he passed away several years ago and the Jeep hasn’t been used much since then. This is a good project Jeep–everything is there; it just needs some work to get it back into good condition, and we don’t have the time to put into it. We will be demolishing the farmhouse and garage where it is currently being stored, so we’re forced to get rid of it. Other issues I can see with the vehicle: the windshield is cracked, the cooling system probably needs to be flushed, and the interior needs reupholstering.”

“i have a 1953 willys jeep that is in really good shape, have a rebuilt willys engine. 3 speed transmission and four wheel drive works great.. i am asking 3000 but might consider trading it for a nice bumper pull camper or a nice ski boat with open bow..and must be water ready…thank for looking.”
This looked nice and stock and really good . . . until I saw that the body was rhino lined on the outside. Sigh.
“Jeep is a 1946 CJ2a with a Willys 4 cylinder gas flat head engine, 6 volt electrical system,3 speed manual transmission. Jeep has been totally sandblasted with a full length floor pan installed,some new sheetmetal also installed. There is no rust and very little Bondo. New seats, new glass, shocks. Axles have not been pulled. Jeep had a spray on Rhino like finish applied. Jeep has engine noise probably tappet related. Canvas top also included.
