This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1956 Willy’s Truck $3900. This truck has a Chrysler slant 6 engine and runs beautifully. It is a 3 speed with OD. It has 4WD, hi/lo…all is in excellent working condition. The interior is in great condition. This is a good driving rig and I hate to get rid of it but I need the money to help pay for grad school. Please call with any questions.”

(05/03/2012) If accurate, this would be a slat grille tub with a glove box.
“Rebuilt engine MB 42734, Frame off restore, 6 volt, new tires, original horn goes beep beep, gauges, canvas top, all lights and gauges work, new wiring, paint, clear Utah title, original zinc data plates, tub number 25410. Engine, wiring, paint were all done by professionals who restore military vehicles. Included but not shown are seat cushions, a tow chain and one set of tire chains.”

“1960 Jeep Dispatcher 4X4
Here is a little Dispatcher for sale. I have removed the hardtop and doors right now, but they can easily be put back on in about an hour or less. It has a 4 cylinder flathead and 3 speed floor shift. Nice HD winch, heater, excellent tires. Tow bar included. Runs great. Lots of fun!

This is a nice looking jeep. The seller’s nephew is actually selling the jeep, but the description is written by the owner.
“Here I have a 1951 CJ3a Willys Jeep. It was restored about 10 yrs ago. I have lost the interest in driving it and moved on to other hobbies.
When I restored the Jeep, it has all new electrical wiring, (12 volt) the key now starts the jeep. (not the old style foot start) Also added dash lights under the front dash
New gas tank, floorboards, floor mat
Rebuilt all the brakes, lines, master
Has re-manufactured seats restored rear with new upholstery
Rear sear is removable”

This looks like a solid jeep.
“This is a very original Jeep. Very little rust in the floors as it was a California Jeep. This has a Buick 225 V6 and 11″ brakes, but is otherwise all stock. Warn Bellview style power in upright winch that works great. Brand new 32″ Les Schwab mud terrains tires. They still have the nubs on them. Rancho new lift springs and shocks. All lights and blinkers work. This Jeep runs and drives great. Just purchased new battery.”

“1953 Willys Wagon Project truck. Body is in pretty good condition. Does have some rust around the rear wheel wells. Has a Chrysler slant 6 motor (unknown condition).
