About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This looks pretty stock and still sports a 24 volt system. That’s pretty funny, as I was talking with Van today (he purchased one of my Champs) and he said that 24 volt M-38s were hard to find. True, I said, but I still find them … and voila …

This seller must sell a variety of trucks, including this FC and a soon to be listed 1965 Willys Jeep FC170 DRW.
“1957 Willys FC150 4 cyl. 3 spd. 4X4. First off I am going through a divorice and I have to sell most of my trucks. The starting bid is what I can get for it as scrap. There is NO RESERVE. I hope that doesn’t happen. If in the event I don’t sell the truck, I will take it apart and scrap the shell. So if you see a part you need, let me know when the auction is over.
I regret that I must sell my trucks. This is a 57 FC150 that runs good, all the 4X4 works, has lock out hubs, electric fuel pump, GM alternator, and already has 11″ brakes installed on the front. I have 11″ backing plates and 1 drum for the rear that are included. The cab needs some some work. The bed is really good shape for one of these trucks. They are usually the hardest part to find. The 65 FC150 I will be listing later has a bed, but not as nice as this one. The windshield is cracked, but a good one is included. Also included with this truck is a complete 4 spd. set up for an FC150, 2 original gas tanks, a whole rear half of a cab, a whole front half of a cab, 2 doors for parts and a rear frame section that has a counterweight and mounting brackets. The rear cab section is good for patches for the lower cab corners. I have an early cab heater that is included, but it is pieces. The 2 brown seats in the pictures are included. If I think of anything else I will add it. I have a clear title. I have engines, transmissions, transfercases, rears if someone needs parts. I will add a link to Photobucket for more pictures. If you would like additional pictures, just send me your email address. If you have any questions please ask. I encourage anyone interested to come look at the truck. I work nights and am available during the day.”
(09/19/2010) I’m not sure why this is so cheap, but it appears to be a great price.
“DONT MISS THIS ONE! A 1953 WILLYS CJ3B IN EXCELLENT CARED FOR CONDITION! HAS $800 IN NEW/ORIGINAL 16″ MILITARY TIRES (5 OF THEM) HAS A $2000 REMOTE CONTROL”
(04/26/2010) Too many jeeps, so the seller is selling this one.
“Daily driver with original four cylinder engine. Body is in good condition for being 64 years old. Could use some work on the rear corners and a paint job. Windshield levers out and the front hardware has all been replaced. I have too many Jeeps and need to let this one go so I have room for the others. Will consider part trade and have some extra wheels and tires I would consider including.”
“i have a 47 willys jeep needs a motor and tranny and paint will make a neat jeep just dont’ have time to finish it 850 or best offer pretty solid jeep rust is shown in pics. i might trade for a sand rail project perfer a motorcycle powered sand rail project”
(07/27/2010) This needs a set of front parking lights, exhaust bolt, and carb kit. The body tub is fiberglass.

(05/24/2010) Brett spotted this nicely restored CJ-6 with a unique looking paint job.
“Up for sale is a RARE 1959 CJ-6. This vehicle has been restored and has no rust. It is painted and marked in air force Blue. It has a 289 V8 motor. It runs and drives well. New gas tank. This jeep also has the rare Hard top. The person I bought it from clamed it was a Flight Line jeep. I have no documation on this. This is a must see if you are looking for a CJ-6. $6500.00 or best offer.”
“1945 CJ2A. It is the #277 making it the 277 civilian jeep ever built. It starts, runs and drives. It shifts just fine and the transfer case works fine as does the 4 wheel drive. The drive train is complete and original. The brakes don’t work, most of the gages don’t work, the lights don’t work, there is no parking brake handle. It still has the 6 volt system but when I was driving it I believe it was running just off the battery. The motor sounds good but smokes at times but then it hasn’t been run for many years until recently and then only for a hour or so. It has a MB engine in it. It may be the original engine and then again it might not as they were making these side by side the WWII jeeps when this was made during the last part of the war. It has the front frame cover, original metal spoke steering wheel, original early parking lights and the very very early square washer windshield. Of course it is the early colum shift as well. This jeep is going to need repairs and parts to get it on the road and alot of work if your looking to restore it to 100% original, which I hope you will. The body while not bad is not as good as the pictures make it look. There is alot of amature body work on it. Fine if you just want to make it road worthy, but if restoring it you’ll have some work to do. you some. As you can see there is no gas tank, no seats and no tailgate. I had picked up many of the parts to restore this over the years but I’m not including them in the sale of the jeep, however they are available after if you need them. ”
This is a running M-151, though it is certainly dirty.
“I am selling my jeep because I have to many toys and some have to go. 68 m151a1 four cylinder four speed four wheel drive. Has not been registered in about 15 years. I started it last year and the motor sounded pretty good. I took the carb off to rebuild it and now I am tired of it. Definitely needs some love but its pretty much complete. Not desperate to sell so dont low ball me. I dont have any paperwork on it. If intrested call me, text email whatever. 2500obo 916-792-1962”
