“This truck is all original except for the tailgate. It’s a 1950. It starts and runs great. Flathead 4 cylinder. Clear title. Last registered in 1968. I bought this truck from a gantleman who’d owned it since the 60s. Until last week it has been parked in his garage for around 30 years. I cleaned the fuel line and the points. Added gas, water, and a battery. It fired up and runs perfect. The tires are dry rotted very bad but hold air. I put some brake fluid in the master cylinder and the brakes pump up but barely work. I’ve driven the truck about 5 or 6 miles and it’s wonderful. The steering is stiff but seems to free up a little more with each turn.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
This looks like a good price.
“Very well preseved 1947 overland is all original except converted to 12 volt. Has 22000 miles and runs and drives great. There is NO rust holes or swollen seams but it could use a paint job.Brand new military style tires, new mastercylinder and rebuilt starter. By far better than a golf cart because it’s road legal and goes almost 50 mph. It is also gets very good mileage and it’s 4 wheel drive. ”
