About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a 1944 jeep it is a nice jeep it is a original body and frame with a few good options only place has very littile rust is by the gas tank well it has orignal tires but not wheels and the motor is a 46 willys not a ford”
UPDATE: Brian’s selling his unique collection of jeeps. Among them is a CJ-6 Wrecker, a CJ-5 Trencher, CJ-5 Snow Blower and the first CJ-5 ever produced.
You are bidding on a massive collection of jeep vehicles, literature, memorabilia, dealer items, toys, and much more. This is the collection of Jeep restorer and enthusiast, Brian Hainer, of Brian’s 4wd Parts, LLC. This list of vehicles is as follows:
1946 CJ2A, original survivor with 7000 miles on it. Original top, chaff screen, rear seat. Even has original key and invoice from Willys/Overland. Has the patina of a 50+ year old vehicle and is one of the most original examples of a CJ2A in existence.
1962 CJ6 Garage Service Vehicle. This has been restored from the ground up and is flawless. Original Koenig Wrecker Boom, and Front winch. Twin Stick PTO powers the front winch, rear wrecker winch, and air compressor. Since the photos posted were taken I have made some top bows and sewn a full lenght bikini top for it. Made out of black canvas. I also added a Extend-a-Bed to this vehicle. There just isn’t any room back there to carry anything and I wasn’t planning on using the boom so I added the extension.
1977 Jeep CJ7. This satisfied my need to go fast every now and again. V8 304, 4.10 gears, …… This jeep is a perfect driver and restored with the same care as every vehicle that comes thru my shop.
1968 CJ5 Jeep-a-Trench. This is an unrestored CJ5 bought from the original owner a couple years ago. Everything is there and is a great example of a trencher. Runs and drives but smokes like crazy. Awaiting restoration.
196? CJ5 Snowblower Jeep. Not exactly sure of the year. This came from an airport and has 109 miles on it. Runs perfect, has the T-98 4 speed in it, but it is very rusty. Body will need replacing.
CJ5 10001 Cut Away Jeep Chassis . This jeep chassis is a cut away display model made by Willys. It has every option you could install on a jeep at the time and everything is cut open so you could see the operation of it. Front winch, governor, twin stick pto, rear gearbox, and right angle pulley. A true piece of history.
That about covers the vehicles. Also included in this sale is every piece of literature, memoriabilia, jeep toy, etc.. that I have collected over the past 30 years. If it is jeep related I probably have it…. bought out a lot of dealers and collected a lot of signs, and early salesmens books.
The Jeep Toy collection is an impressive one and includes #92 of the Fine Art Model of the ww2 MB. Fine art models got into a battle with Chrysler a while back over making these and it is very rare to ever see one for sale. You will receive #92 with this collection.
(03/13/2011) This might be worth a look. The rims aren’t original.

(01/09/2011) Brett’s neighbor is selling this Willys. Brett reports that, ‘He never restored it but has always maintained it. It isn’t much to look at but runs great. The floors are shot and plated over and there is some body rust. But it is a good runner.’
“1953 M38-A1 Jeep. New tires, running well, completely rewired ~15 years ago. This is a Korean war era military jeep that is largely stock, strong original power-train, a great find for a complete military restore. This jeep has been a member of the family and now that it gets driven less I would hate to see it go to waste and ruin parked out side the house. Its needs a good home and I need the space.”
“FC-series trucks were produced through 1964, but never in large quantities, so that makes this baby a collectors item. More importantly it’s so FUN to drive!!! She looks great and runs even better!!!!!!!
The Jeep Forward Control (FC) is a truck that was produced by Willy’s and then Kaiser Jeep from 1956 to 1965. The design of the truck is also called a cab forward or better known as a cabover or COE for “cab over engine”.
This truck is easy to drive, feels safe and secure and the cab-forward design gives the driver great visibility and excellent maneuverability. They are very rare, very collectible vehicles……and this is a very rare opportunity……don’t miss out!!!”
(02/16/2011) This looks in good solid though it does have diamond plating which might or might not be covering issues.
“1947 CJ2 Willys most original, has been converated to 12 Volt. Runs good and is in good condition. This Willys has been well maintained and lives in the garage all year round. 3 lever shift, flat head 4, single barrel carb. Tires are failrly new also comes with a tow bar.
Asking $3,600.00 OBO.. Please contact Matt @ 307-267-1468.”
“The body is in great shape but obviously has been sanded down. A rear window has been cracked. It’s perfect for restoring!! Everything runs good but has some electrical problems. I’m open to offers on this one…”
