About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This appears in good shape. It might make a good reproduction project.

Given the passenger side indents, I’d say this is a pretty new body.
“1953 Willys/Jeep CJ3B Complete frame up restoration .New tub, new soft top,Warn overdrive,12 volt,11″ front brakes. This is a fun vehicle to drive, motor runs excellent.”
“1963 WILLYS FC170 4X4 DUMP STAKE BED. THE FC HAS A SOLID FRAME NO PATCHES. BODY IS SOLID ALSO WITH NO PATCHES. THE DUMP BED AND TOOL BOXES ARE POWDER COATED. THE STAKES ARE TREATED LUMBER. THERE ARE TWO PERMANENTLY MOUNTED OVER THE BED TIE DOWN STRAPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THE ENGINE IS A L6 226 SIX CYLINDER. IT DOES NOT BURN OIL. IT STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS WELL. THE GVW OF THE UNIT IS 7000 LB. I HAVE INSTALLED A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM. ALSO INSTALLED WARN LOCK-OUT-HUBS. THE US FOREST SERVICE DECALS ARE MAGNETIC AND COME OFF EASILY. THE SHOVEL AND FIRE AXE WERE ADDED TO THE SIDE BOARDS AND CAN BE REMOVED. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE A COUPLE YEARS AGO. I HAVE NO ROOM TO KEEP IT AND IT MUST GO. I BELIEVE AT ONE TIME IT WAS A FIRETRUCK THUS THE LOW MILES(unverified). THE FC IS A VERY NICE CLASSIC.”
Once the price drops, this might make a good project.
“has rebuilt willys flat head inline 4cyl, new wheel bearings, brake cylinders, brakes. has lots of potential, every thing else is pretty much original. only use once a year for deer hunting. please reply to posting.”
The sellers are interested in selling, but aren’t in a hurry due to the wagon’s location.
“We have a ’59 Jeep Wagon we would like to sell. This vehicle has less than 60K original miles. It is only used in the summer, when cabin is accessible, and is garaged all winter. We are trying to decide to sell vehicle up there, or haul it to the Bay Area and try to sell it for more. Vehicle has a clear title and has always been registered in CA. It is equipped with 6 cyl. flathead engine. It has been used for short 4-wheel trips in the area. the body is no cherry, NO major rust, just scrapes from hidden boulders, one rear fender dented pretty good, also has a couple broken windows, (glass is broken, not broken out, make sense?). Interior is in real good shape for its age. Vehicle is road worthy, however I would recommend trailering long distances. Has top speed of about 55-60 mph. Right now we’re looking for potential buyers, vehicle is not accessible at this time, Cabin will be opened Memorial Day weekend or weekend after. email offers please be reasonable. These are the only pics I can find for now. More can be made available in the next couple weeks I’m sure. Please be in no rush, as we don’t get up to the area often and transaction will have to be arranged in advance. I hope you understand.”
