UPDATE: **SOLD** Was for auction.
Josh spotted this auction. It takes place March 22-24, 2013. This is the Jade Tint Green/Glacier White color scheme. It is too bad the engine doesn’t look in better shape.
Dave shared this image of a Pepsi Surrey. This is a little clearer than a similar picture shown on the CJ-3B page.
Here’s a neat friction Surrey Jeep.
“Vintage Pink Surrey Willies Overland Jeep CJ Wrangler Scale Metal Friction Model!
Please view the images for condition.
Here we have an awesome tin friction car modeled after some old Jeep, not sure of the exact model. Friction motor was locking up at first but appears fine now and seems to work alright. Looks like there may have been a top over the passenger compartment at one time as there are six of the typical tin holes for extra parts to fit into on the rear of the jeep and the windshield frame. Overall great condition, might need some cleaning in the tight areas and does show some minimal wear. No maker mark or country of origin stamp on this one. Totally excellent jeep!!”
Here are a couple different postcards of a DJ-3A Surrey towing some kind of visitor car at the Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, MI. The Bavarian Inn is still there. I wonder what happened to the jeep?

1) Colin shared this video clip. In the 1950s Post Cereal partnered with Kaiser Willys to giveaway a CJ-3B as demonstrated by this video. All customer had to do was write down on a piece of paper their favorite Kellogg’s cereals.

2) (from an earlier post) In this 1960’s Kelloggs All Bran Contest, Kellogg’s partnered with Kaiser Willys to giveaway a CJ-5 or DJ-3A Surrey, plus an Aruba vacation. 1,500 model Surreys (Tonkas maybe?) were given away, too. The box below was sold on eBay in August of 2012.
