This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/30/2010) There’s been some body work done to this jeep. For example, it appears there is diamond plating around the gas inlet.
“UP FOR AUCTION, 1953 CJ 3B Willys Jeep, runs good, stock overhead cam 4 cyl, original motor. New soft top, new windshield, lift kit with oversized tires. All gauges work, automatic windhield wipers, new fuel tank.Body straight paint is nice, no rust. Have door for it but they do not match the paint.”

“This is a 1959 Willys CJ3B. I don’t know the history it was a trade for some work. The jeep belongs to a friend of mine this is all he knows about this vehicle. The previous owner purchased the jeep in 1968 and had the body work done and the engine rebuilt at some time. The jeep runs fine and everything works! 4 wheel drive hi and low. I have not checked out the wench to see if it works but will check it out and update you as to my findings. The jeep is located in Hollister CA and needs to be picked up or driven home from here.”

This is a great looking Wagon … but who actually appraises vehicles and why don’t the know what they are doing? I mean, it appraised at $19,000? That is nuts.

“56 willys pick up. 350 chevy small block v8 runs perfect, four wheel drive. nice interior, bucket seats. four speed tranny plus overdrive. rear end makes some noise.”

“Custom built jeep. Tons of work done; ARB air lockers, ARB heavy duty air compressor, full custom roll cage, 33×12.5 super swampers, weld bead lock rims, custom dash, much more work done. Must see to appreciate.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600.
This is riding pretty low in the rear. The flags are a nice touch; probably raised the value another $100.
“1945 MB project. runs and drives- no brakes. has a clear MI title. has MB frame tag and MB stamped motor. i probably can’t answer all of your ?’s- the best thing would be for you to come and see it for yourself. i have done some work to it, but it has a long way to go. i have a spare cj2a tub that has a decent back half that i will include, and a spare radiator.”

This looks in good condition. It’s got a few dings that add some character.

UPDATE: This was sold, but the buyer didn’t show. So, it is back on the market.

The seller calls this the military version of the CJ-3B …. naw, I don’t think so.
