These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a rare 1947 Willy’s CJ2 a. Single barrel carb with new rebuilt tranny. This jeep is for the serious collector or someone who appreciates the CJ jeep line. Minimal rust. Back left quarter panel damage. If your looking for a great project, this is it.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
(11/09/2010) Clearly a parts or project; However, the seller took the time to take lots of pictures, so I figured I’d post it.
“Project rolling chassis, custom spring over axle conversion, Dana 30 front axle Dana 20 rear. Engine: 2.8 Chevy V6 out of a ’85 S10 with 85k miles.”

“Willys Jeep CJ2A for $100.00. Engine and transmission has been worked on. This Jeep has been in my family for more than 50 years. I have the original owners manual. I’m moving and do not have the time to put it back togather. I need to have it moved by the end of this year 2010.”
