UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $5200.

This appears solid.

“What you are looking at is a rare 1954 willys cj3b jeep. It comes with a powerful PTO winch. The engine is the original engine and runs perfectly with no smoke and great oil pressure. The transmission is also perfect. The jeep has been restored. It could use 2 new rear tires. 4 wheel drive works perfectly. The jeep has no title, but I do have a bill of sales and can write another when you buy it.
New windshield
New carburetor
New paint
New spray in bed liner
New spark plug wires
New rear universal joint.”

Year? CJ-3B Spokane, Wa $7500

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3B • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Back on eBay. The new pic shows this has bow holders…. very  unusual …. After pondering the dash, which looks fine, I think if I were to do the dash like this, I would tack on tabs to the back of the dash and then drop in the gauge plate so that is sat flush with the dash.

(04/27/2011) This appears to have been extensively rebuilt.

“complete rebuild 231 buick v6 motor fully syncro 4 speed transmition dana 30 front end dana 44 rear end 373 gears power stearing power breaks 11″ break everything brand new duel fuel tanks new gauges new wires serious people only!!!”

UPDATE:  Price bumped to $3500

(09/25/2010) I haven’t seen any front loops bend towards the back like this one does.

“1946 Willys Jeep Cj2a. Rebuilt Motor, Good 4 wheel drive, Runs Great! All of the body work is done. I’ve been exploring Manhattan today by foot.  One of the places I wandered through was the M&M store at Times Square.  I couldn’t resist photographing the jeep display.  I may or may not have more posts later tonight.

Jonas’ M-606

• CATEGORIES: Features, M-606 (military CJ-3B) This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Jonas wrote me the other day telling me he’s got a rare M-606. I asked him if the Data Plate was stamped ‘M-606’ and he said it was and that the speedometer is in KMs.  He’s invited me to drop by and see for myself, so I hope to report on it in early October. Thanks for sharing!  Cool pics, too! I love the contrast between the sky and the trees, jeep and grass.

He wrote, “I own a actual M606 jeep made by Kaiser in 1966. This is not a military CJ3B. It was exported (to Argentina I think) and then repatriated back to the US. Or it never left, nobody knows really. But It is here now and it is pretty original with all the features unique to the M606. I have acquired a Koening winch and hard cab for it in the past month and put a set of proper traction type tires on it.”
