UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $800

(10/04/2011) There looks like some value here.

“1948 WILLYS CJ2A. the motor has been replaced with an 1986 ford ranger 2.3 leeter which has been adapted to the warren t90 tranny. it runs and drives as is but the wiring needs to be finished. it has the ranger wiring harness, just needs to be connected. rear seal of the transfer case leaks a little. got the new seal just haven’t had the time to put it in. a new hood wouldn’t hurt much. comes with a set of 28 tsl’s super swampers. one needs to be replaced. has inner side wall damage from being ran to long with low air presure. if your interested email me. $800 don’t want to sell it but i got bills to pay.”

1962 FC-150 Norfork, Ar eBay

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Back on eBay

(10/14/2011) There’s some value here. The engine turns over, but doesn’t run at the moment.

“I’m helping a friend sell this vehicle and it’s located 20 miles from me.  I have known this man for 15 years, he’s retired in his 70s and honest.

Jeep FC was running fine when parked in 1990 and has not been started since.  Has 134 CI and 3-speed manual.  The engine does turn over freely.

Vehicle is located in Norfork, Arkansas, and has a clear title.

The odometer reads 45,260 miles.

I don’t believe there’s any bondo on the vehicle, but there is a large amount of rust, most of it surface with some pin holes.  Above the front windshield there is a line of rust with several large pin holes in it and the small areas where the driver’s and passenger’s feet rest have been replaced with flat metal.

Otherwise, the doors, rest of the cab, bed, etc. look to be in fair shape.  I think a lot of the metal on this vehicle could be saved.

About the glass:  The two vent windows, the two ¼ windows, and the back window look good.  But the front windshield and driver’s and passenger’s windows have cracks.

All of the weather-stripping and rubber seals are deteriorated.

This Jeep FC seems very complete, perhaps 100% (my opinion), this is a great advantage in a restoration, because you can see where everything goes and fits.

There is a factory-optional twin-jerry-can storage rack on the driver’s side for pair of fuel cans.

Also, the rear hitch on this FC is either a factory option or FC-specific aftermarket part.

There is also an extra heater box and dash that come with this vehicle for trading later on or whatever (see photos).

And of course the tool box and rack could easily be removed for a factory clean appearance.

Important Note: My friend has a second, older Jeep FC-150 for sale at this same time.  Please check in my “Seller’s Other Items.”

Thank you for looking and if you have any questions I will try to answer them or forward them to my friend.

I’m at the limit of pictures I can have in the ad now and I hope the ones I’ve taken give you a very-good idea of this vehicle’s condition; it’s all there, but needs a complete restoration.”

1956 FC-150 Norfork, Ar eBay

UPDATE:  Back on eBay

(10/14/2011) There is some value in this and the FC below.

“I’m helping a friend sell this vehicle and it’s located 20 miles from me.  I have known this man for 15 years, he’s retired in his 70s and honest.

This vehicle does not have a title or VIN tag that I have seen.  Since it is a narrow stance built off the CJ-5, we assume it is a 1956 or 57, since the width increased in 1958.

Jeep FC was running fine when parked in 1994 and has not been started since.  Has 134 CI and 3-speed manual.

Vehicle is located in Norfork, Arkansas.

The odometer reads 28,594 miles.

I don’t believe there’s any bondo on the vehicle, but there is a large amount of rust, most of it surface with some pin holes.  The small areas where the driver’s and passenger’s feet rest have been replaced with flat metal.  And there is an appx. 8×10” hole in the floor right behind the driver’s seat down in that low valley behind the front tire.

Otherwise, the doors, rest of the cab, bed, etc. look to be in OK shape.  I think a lot of the metal on this vehicle could be saved.

About the glass:  The front windshield, big rear window, and the two ¼ windows look good.  The two vent windows and the driver’s and passenger’s side windows have cracks.

All of the weather-stripping and rubber seals are deteriorated.

Note: One of the badges on the passenger side reads “FC-170” but that was put on to cover a lost badge, this is not a 170 model.

This Jeep FC seems very complete, perhaps 90% (my opinion), this is a great advantage in a restoration, because you can see where everything goes and fits.

Additionally, there is a factory-optional glove box behind the driver’s seat—nice collectible touch.

And of course the tall wood rack could easily be removed for a factory clean appearance.

Important Note: My friend has a second, 1962 Jeep FC-150 for sale at this same time.  Please check in my “Seller’s Other Items.”

Thank you for looking and if you have any questions I will try to answer them or forward them to my friend.

I’m at the limit of pictures I can have in the ad now and I hope the ones I’ve taken give you a very-good idea of this vehicle’s condition; it’s mostly there, but needs a complete restoration.”

1947 CJ-2A Larkspur, Co **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:**SOLD** Was $6000

(12/26/2008) From the parts list and description, there’s been a great deal of work and money invested in this jeep.  This nice looking CJ-2A sports a fiberglass body, tub and fenders.  My only concern about this jeep is the way the rollcage appears to connect to the back wheel wells rather than connecting directly to the frame, as should be done with a fiberglass body.

“Built 377Ci Chevy Small Block w/Edelbrock manifold and Carb Mallory unilite distributor, coil and fuel pump, Doug Thorley Headers, SM465 Chevy 4 speed tranny with centerforce clutch & t18 dual stick tcase with the Warn Overdrive, Narrow track Dana 44 front and rear with the full float axle conversion all around for flat towing it, One Piece shafts in the rear, Disc brakes in the front, Chevy Power Steering ….”

UPDATE: **SOLD* Was $5000

(09/17/2011) This appears in good shape.

“1950 Willys Jeepster, Clear Idaho Title, 161 F-head, 90HP Hurricane 6 cylinder engine, Runs good. 6 volt system with new battery. Original radio and heater. One of the 19,000 ever built. Needs new convertible top but framework is in good condition. Body is sound and straight but does have a few dents. It is a drivable project that you can enjoy while tinkering or go all out and do a frame off. ”
