    Hi Kameron,

    I think it is clear the seller is stringing together words not knowing what they are really saying. However, given that the Army Quarter Master General directed the development of the 1/4 ton and ordered most of the vehicles, it isn’t that unreasonable to call them ‘army’ jeeps.

    As far as color goes, again the seller isn’t very versed in the topic, but the answer itself isn’t as simple as Olive Drab. In fact, some of the jeeps delivered directly to the Marines were painted Forest Green at the factory, according to this thread:

    I don’t have any documentation that directly shows which branch of the military used the jeep more during WW2, so I’d welcome any links you have on the topic.
