Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s a canfield wrecker brochure for a truck.
Now the folding wrecker boom, I always thought that was a good idea. For some reason, just never caught on. I still have some of these brochures; I would go around to Jeep dealers and collect them when I was a kid.
By the way, look at the tail gate with the “factory stenciled” Willys; I have never seen one like this ever. I always wondered about it; any thoughts?
Actually, I’d didn’t really notice it. I’ll have to take a closer look and compare it with others. It is certainly larger than others I’ve seen.
