Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/21/2012) If this is a 1941, it should have a squared gas tank and be a slatgrille. I did a search for a “General Ralph Pangonis”, but could only find a General William Pangonis, who supervised logistical operations during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

It looks like the professional restoration was never completed. This looks to be around a $10,000 Jeep at best. Why people cannot put realistic values on their Jeeps is beyond me. And what does professionally restored mean without the name of the shop that did the job?

professionally restored!! Engine bay has no fuel filter, air filter…….
if you look at the boss above the water pump you will see that it is a cj engine in it not a ww2 engine
Its also titled as a U.S Army Willy’s but stenciled with Marine logos.
