1943 GPW Honolulu, HI **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: GPW (Ford MB) • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500

(07/31/2012) There are some unusual mods, similar to the jeep boat for sale last year.

“I have a 1943 ford gpw military jeep for trade. It is basically the same as a willys. Willys could not keep up with production for the military so they contracted other companies to produce them and ford was one of them. It is a 4 x 4 and the motor was rebuilt many years ago and was running before it was garaged. the jeep is free of all back taxes because it has not been registered in 20 to 30 years. maybe more. The body has rust and has been modified so it now looks like a truck but it is repairable and has lots of potential. I took pictures but somehow i cant get them loaded into my computer. I will post them as soon as I can. I am looking to trade for a chevy astro, gmc safari or a chevy / gmc 1500 truck. standard bed and cab, 2 wheel drive, 2 door, preferably with working a/c. blazers, tahoe, yukon is fine too. I will take any other trades into consideration as well such as a economical japanese car with a/c or vintage volkswagon. if interested, please reply to this ad through email. replies with photos of their trades and a phone number will have first priority.”

1947 CJ-2A Keokuk, IA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**

“Up for auction is a 1951 Jeep Willys CJ3Awith 43,037 miles. I was told this was actual mileage but can’t confirm due to how old the Jeep is. I always wanted a willys so I purchased the Jeep with the intentions of restoring it but currently have tooooooooooooo many projects going and need to make some room. Jeep comes with it’s Original Common Wealth of Virginia Title from 1951 which has been framed to preserve and display it. This Jeep was owned by the same family it’s whole life and has been sitting for quite awhile. I was told it was running when parked but can not verify. Jeep has all of it’s original fenders, front grille, Windshield frame, tailgate, Motor & driveline, rear mounted spare tire carrier, 5 Wheels & Tires (rubber is cracked and they leak air), Driver side seat, and also a registratable Title which is in the original owners sons name so you don’t have to let go of the original. I have uploaded numerous pictures to detail the condition of the parts. I would say this Jeep is around 90-95% complete. I hate to let it go and hopefully she’ll find a nice new owner to restore her to her original beauty. This was a Farm Jeep and the Body, All sheet metal, panels & Frame are Rock solid.”

Fun!

Contents and condition are as follows: the box, measuring about 24 inches by 8 inches by 4 ½ inches, is in nice condition with a little warping on the lid and some water stains at various places. The chuck wagon, jeep and all figures and accessories are in excellent undamaged condition (the right front wheel has a hairline crack that runs halfway through it, but you can barely see it and it work fine).
