Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No engine or tranny, but this looks restorable.
“This is a 1947 Willys Overland Wagon. It is the first full year of production for the Willys Wagon, it is 2 wheel drive, which is very rare. It has no engine or trans. I have a signed off title that was issued from NJ in 1956. THIS IS AN AWSOME RESTORATION PROJECT OR ONE OFF HOT ROD!”
This appears to be a good price. Looks solid. The fenders appear to be later model ones, given the divot for the side light.

“1950 Willys Wagon 4×4. Has a 1976 IH Scout frame, drive lines, brakes, engine, trans. 304 V8, 4 speed trans and fuel tank
Body is very straight and very solid – NO RUST
Front disk brakes
Glass is good
Drives very well.
Needs little work.
Needs –
• Steering gear box, NAPA around $150.00
• New interior wood paneling, old panels are there just very worn, go to store buy paneling, trace, cut, install
• Passenger side exterior door handle
• Some of the gauges don’t work (the speedo does work)
• Headliner
• Rekey doors
• Driver door wing window frame needs some attention
I took this on trade and don’t need it.

“1958 Forward Control (FC-150) Jeep. Good glass (some fogging), no engine or transmission, no bed, clean title. Some rust, but mostly sound, very restoraable for a good body man. I looked for one for years but just don’t have time for a project anymore. $600. Cash only.”

Popular Science published a January 1943 article with a variety of GPA / SEEP pictures, including a nice breakdown of the dashboard (handy for my description of a seep dashboard in my upcoming book).

I ran across an ad from the 1990s on eBay. A little investigation revealed that the Jeep Tour company still provides tours and is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
We’ve seen a few of these promos sold on eBay. This is a nice reference piece.
