Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The front of this has been stretched. It might be on a later CJ-5 chassis.
“Classic Willy’s Jeep for sale as project vehicle. Engine runs well – recently tuned. All four brake cylinders have been replaced as well as the front differential and drive shaft. Interior has been completely stripped of old paint and repainted using truck bed liner for durability. Full roll cage installed although front section is only tacked together with rear section completely welded.”
The full cage looks nice. Don’t like the stretched front end. $1500 would be more like it.
