UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
(08/24/2013) Joe’s selling his 1967 CJ-5.
“The engine is a 225 Daultless V6. Odometer says 45,xxx, Body off restoration, rebuilt tranny, new tires, new top and doors, rebuilt carb, new tailgate, fenders, floor, replaced body panels, all seams seamsprayed, spray on bedliner, stock hubcaps, new seats, new windshield frame, basecoat/clearcoat paint, new brakes, new radiator, new waterpump, electrical tune-up and more.”

“Body off” and recycled. New body installed. Not much original or even correct sheetmetal there… Pretty jeep though. It’s a very very rare CJ-5 that was actually “restored” with an eye to originality. Seats are NEVER original and/or covered with original fabric.
Looks to me like he said new fenders and replaced panels. Looks to me like he kept as much as he could. I agree on the seats, you don’t see many with seats correct. It’s a great build, nice looking CJ5.
Looks like a good price for a great CJ5. Get in and drive away. Good luck to the seller.
