A reader forwarded these photos taken in northern Canada. Rather than recycled or otherwise utilized, the parts and vehicles were bulldozed over the edge of a hill. As you can see, amongst the debris are some jeeps.
What a heart break… especially that passenger seat I need! We had a similar tragedy in Phoenix when a 4WD shop was “turned in” for alleged EPA violations (leaking fluids and such). To clean up the area behind their shop, they hauled off 2 or 3 40yd dumpsters of vintage flat fender parts including engines, transmissions, axles and such… all just months before I took up this hobby/addiction.
Murder………..!! So sad to see.

It is sad,a lot of parts in that pile that my Gpw has had missing since I got it come 34 years ago that I am now trying to locate.It is probably so far north that it would cost a lot to have saved these vehicles for parts.But we all know that we all will go to extremes at times to obtain jeep parts!!

Im from Canada, maybe nearest for me….i did 2600 miles, 44 hours drive to buy my first jeep!
