This body has seen some changes. The driver and passenger entrances are one-of-a-kind. The passenger side has a GPW fender.

One of a kind, and very nicely done. That driver’s side fender is GPW/MB, too… judging from the connector for the hinged, sunken headlights. This also has the M-38 reinforced tailgate, which is great for that spare tire and jerry can mounting. I wonder what those bumperettes are from? I actually like those side/entrances and the clean way he mounted the seats… but where’s the gas tank?
THOSE BUMPERETTES LOOK LIKE THEY CAME OFF A 74 OR LATER STYLE CJ5..REMEMBER THE CHROME STYLE THEY HAD !! AND YES VERY SHARPE LOOKING JEEP
Judging from the shape of the door openings, my guess is that this had the delivery hardtop on it and a previous owner took that off and filled in the door openings which originally would have gone down from the top of the tub to the floor at about a 45 degree angle, leading to having to fabricate new seat frames. This also has an early radiator, not a DJ3A type which was the same as the CJ3A. The air filter is also early, MB type. The gas tank should be in the rear between the frame rails, but having the spare tire over the filler cap opening would make it tough to put gas in it.
